What's up with cats sometimes taking a long time to think about a jump and then just completely fails anyway by making the tiniest jump?

Also catnip is like a drug for some cats right? Why does nobody find it weird people are getting their pets high?

Do dogs actually like you?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Yes! Scientists trained dogs to stay still in an mri and showed them pictures of the dog's owners. The areas that correspond with human joy areas lit up! Same when they smell something from their owners.

You know how in the hangover they feed Tyson’s tiger meat and Zach galifinakis says to put pepper on the meat cuz tigers like pepper? I wonder if canines have herbs or spices that they love but every time I search o line all I get are lists of food safe for dogs.

At the big cat rescue here they figured out that cats love Calvin Klein Obsession For Men perfume.

And once my ex stood with the cat on the kitchen counter and opened, one by one, every spice jar in the kitchen and let him sniff it. Then closed and replaced it. The cat just sat there sniffing them. So I'd say yes. Not as food, but certainly as smells.

Personally my cat seems to crave the flavor of yoga mats.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Mine likes phone cases

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

That's better than having a cat with pica. Can't leave paper anywhere out in the open....

How can a word be accurately constructed but disallowed anyway? Does it "sound wrong" just because it's not used? Example: stupider

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago

IMO if everyone involved in the conversation believes in the moment that it's a real word and is on the same page about what it means then nothing is wrong.

"If our knees bent the other way, what would our chairs look like?"

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

We could just sit on the floor like in some asian countries?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Would our hips still bend the same way or would we be reversing both knees and hips?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I never got the answer - who did let the dogs out?

Why is European mayonnaise different and better than American mayonnaise?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Why is European everything different and better than American everything

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Except our military

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago

They probably use real ingredients and have more crap banned that a-ok in the US-A

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

Do you do it yourself with a European recipe? You would get the same result I guess.

Can a person clap one handed? I grew up on that and one day I disjointed my fingers and can clap very loudly one handed. It is funny when I show other people and they try it and they look like the R word just waving their hand around.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Some people can

Cats were once worshipped as Gods.

And they have never forgot this.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Now they just laze around dreaming about days-gone-by...and occasionally catching a rat.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Eh? (Smaller question by one letter).

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Is he Canadian?
