I'm paying a shit ton to have a basement. Why the hell would I leave it?

Where exactly is Bill's Hentai Cavern? Asking for a friend
It was a made up example that I can only hope stays made up.
Gary, indiana
His name is Bingo Gas Station Motel Cheeseburger With A Side of Aircraft Noise And You'll Be Gary, Indiana.
Honolulu
Challenger Deep.
We're all going to Die! (France)
Scunthorpe
Just never go to Scunthorpe
I once drove through Ohio, don't remember my exact route, but came up north from Kentucky to Cincinnati, then east into Pennsylvania
There may be more boring drives out there, but I haven't made them.
Cincinnati seemed like a nice enough city though. Can't think of any particular reason I'd ever want to go back, but I didn't hate it, so that was pretty much the high point of my time in Ohio

Clearly youβve never had goetta.
I haven't, but I live in PA, so we have scrapple which sounds pretty similar.
Yeah, very similar but with steel-cut oats instead of cornmeal/flour. Iβve not had scrapple but I understand theyβre very similar, both born out of German immigrants trying to stretch meat servings and save money.
Any drive through Nebraska blows.
Denver to St Louis through KS and MI is up there
Doesn't help that getting from West to East on i70 through Kansas City is a nightmare after driving that long.
Spoiler: i70 doesn't just run through the city like one would think.
Texas is a pretty terrible place. And itβs huge. Have fun.
There's a UK road trip that goes from Twatt to Shitterton through Cock Bridge, Dick Place, Cock Alley, Bitchfield, Whores Wood and Ass Hill.
But why is it terrible tho?
Ah I read it as terribly named places for some reason
Youβre fine, OPβs question isnβt terribly clear
We should... we should kill OP, correct?
I think that's what OP did mean given the examples.
Athol. It's in Mathachuthetts.
Jokes aside the town does suck.
Iβm from Massachusetts. I donβt think I have ever heard anyone say they were going to Athol for any reason.
Precisely. I used to drive through there on my way to/from college. It sucks there.
Hawaii
Toad Suck, Arkansas. Got a cool pic at the lock and dam, missed the park and the town itself.
Transylvania, Louisiana. Got a pic of the bat painted on the water tower, but the general store/Post Office was closed, so no souvenirs.
I wouldnβt force Louisiana on my worst enemy. The coast is probably fine, but in deep Louisiana, I saw more trash heaps, cars on blocks, and churches than actual businesses or non-dilapidated homes
The coast is just as bad. I've done the east arkansas to new Orleans drive. Never again.
Middelfart in Denmark.
That said, we also have Lolland
I can keep you busy for a while in Canada...
Dildo, Newfoundland
Blow me Down (park), Newfoundland
Come by Chance, Newfoundland
Spread Eagle Bay, Newfoundland
Conception Bay, Newfoundland
Balls Creek, Nova Scotia
Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia
Ecum Secum, Nova Scotia
Meat Cove, Nova Scotia
Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia
Balls Falls, Ontario
Crotch Lake, Ontario
Old Cummer (train station in Ontario)
Opeepeesway Lake, Ontario
Bummer's Roost, Ontario
Hooker Lake, Ontario
Redditt, Ontario
Big Woody, Manitoba
Climax, Saskatchewan
Big Beaver, Saskatchewan
Balzac, Alberta
Smuts Creek, Alberta
Stoner, British Columbia
Spuzzum, British Columbia
Skookumchuck, British Columbia
Nipple Mountain, British Columbia
Knipple Lake, British Columbia
Yoho (park), British Columbia
Snafu Lake, Yukon
There are many additional funny ones, but I mostly tried to keep with a theme above.
So, along the way back you can check out Salmon Arm, Vulcan, Eyebrow, Moose Jaw, Flin Flon, Punkydoodles Corners, Swastika, Emo, Utopia, Saint-Louis-du-Ha!-Ha!, Asbestos, Peakaboo Corner, Sober Island, Crapaud, Jerrys Nose, Witless Bay, Goobies, and many, many more.
Nova Scotia is keeping it real as fuck.
Excuse me, op specifically asked for terrible places
Yeah, I went by the examples in the text, not the title :)
Tracy, California.
All I know about it is when my friends car broke down there for two days. Sounded awful.
So yeah, a terrible place for a road trip destination.
Similarly, I'd also say Monroe, Louisiana. To quote an old B-movie from the 50's "There's nothing off of I-20!"
There's no unfortunately named landmarks, just unfortunate people in unfortunate towns.
it sounds so innocuous. What's wrong with it?
Can confirm, Tracy is in the middle of nowhere and there's nothing to do.
Very accurate. But don't worry, there are worse places along the way!
Is exct a thing or just a typo?
Typo

There's a village not far from me called Shitterton. It's actually quite nice despite the name.
There's a state park in Kentucky called "Big Bone Lick"
