It took me a second, but yes, I would very much like this feature too. Sadly I will never know if anyone replies with instructions for this ability, unless it directly responds to my comment.

This is the most correct of all possible responses.

I couldn’t get more than halfway through this article. There’s too much quoting of things Trump said, and it was painful.

EDIT: A word

How dare you besmirch pangolin. Pangolin is best animal.

Like a drawing, or like other stuff?

Very good survival rates likely!

Young Justice. Good eye! Extra 2 points if you can remember who is under the helmet in that one.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was honestly hoping the Lemmy anti-AI knee-jerk responses would not have bled over into this community, but clearly that hope was in vain.

I was going to say I don’t have the desire to devote the time it would take, but then I realized: I have never tried drawing digitally before. And I totally already have everything I need to do it. And now I am intrigued.

Imagine if we could “see” in those wavelengths!

Don’t tell Musk I said that

Since I can’t draw, but I still have ideas, this seemed like the best way. ADHDinos is basically like the same 3 images over and over and no one seems to mind that. Plus, I shudder at the thought of trying to vector trace all those pangolin scales. I’m glad you liked it though.

Venting is also welcome.

I’ve been using Apple products since 2007. I’ve stuck with the platform through a lot—hardware changes, locked-down software, design regressions, and tools that feel like they were made deliberately harder to use. Lately, that frustration has boiled over, especially with things like the Shortcuts app, where basic actions are buried behind hidden menus and UI behavior seems to change based on factors you can’t even see. Autocorrect is turned on in automation fields. Logic paths vanish if you tap out of order. It’s absurd.

But this isn’t just a complaint about one app. It feels like Apple has shifted from enabling users to controlling them, even when you’re trying to stay fully within the system. What used to be intuitive is now opaque. And despite that, many of us still use Apple products because they’re often better than the alternatives. We’re just tired of pretending everything is fine.

So I’m wondering: is there any interest in a Lemmy community for Apple users who want to talk openly about what’s broken, what could be improved, and how to make things work better? I don’t care whether you’ve been using Macs since the Classic or just got your first iPhone. If you’re frustrated, curious, skeptical, or hopeful, you’re welcome. The goal is a space for real discussion, including ideas, suggestions, and brainstorming. Not for constant complaining, (although it is getting more and more difficult), but something more thoughtful, even if occasionally a little cathartic. Also welcome are any positive discoveries or revelations that the group would appreciate.

If that sounds like something you’d want to be part of, let me know. I’ll start the community if there’s interest. (Also, should I cross-post this somewhere?)

This comic is me

I would prefer fabric to leather. And end a three section normal size couch is fine. It doesn’t have to be some huge sectional monstrosity.

And I am clearly autistic.

This one too, even moreso

EDIT: Coincidentally, I turned off prevent cross-site tracking, because I got sick of raindrop.io signing me out constantly. However, that seemed, I think, to have solved this issue. The only other thing I changed was to turn on the compact tabs view, but I don’t see how that possibly could have had any effect on this whatsoever. So I think maybe the cross-site tracking prevention thing is broken, or something along those lines

I'm mainly interested in how clean it gets the dishes, and how reliable it is. I also don't need or want any kind of internet-connected features.
