I’ve got wallet and lighter front right, phone and cigs front left, and keys on a carabiner tucked into back right. Back left is basically always empty.

Phone in left front pocket, keys in right front pocket. Nothing else, that's all I need if I'm just stepping out. I have several hobbies though, and I have a separate backpack/bag for each one, loaded and ready to go.

Right front pocket: Keys, lighter, smokes

Left front pocket: Phone

Right back pocket: Wallet

Left back pocket: doggie poo bags

In jacket weather: left inside breast pocket of jacket has gloves.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I’m pretty much the same but I carry my RPG in my back left for quick access.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Your belt must be strong AF.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Jeans are stronger than fur suits.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I'm an American furry. My fursuit is woven with kevlar and has trauma plates inside.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I thought they all had some trauma inside.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago (3 children)

It is possible to be a well-adjusted furry. It's rare, but it is possible.

front right is phone. front left is anything else.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (5 children)

Im not wild about stuff in my pockets so I switched to a bandolier. Also nice to not have to swap things over as you swap pants.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Me too. I've got several "purses". Can't stand much in my pockets.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

the bandolier itself does not even have its own pockets. it has a metal ring and I have a zip up wallet on a carbiner. I basically have a bunch of stuff on carbiners.

Front right is keys and wallet. Front left is phone and a Leatherman.

Nothing in the back because of issues putting things there.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

These are all in cargo pants but default is phone front left; small wallet (leather card holder with a zip pocket with a tile in it) front right; keys back zip pocket, but recently I was in another country and did water bottle front top left; phone, large wallet due to cash & book front top left; travelcard and hotel key back zip pocket, passport & 120Ah portable charger front bottom right, coins front bottom right which surprisingly felt just fine so maybe I'm ready to become a suburban dad

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Fucking, uh, keys and a wad of cash. Oh and phone i guess. I kinda stuff them wherever depending on what i'm wearing, i don't have that many pockets so i don't fumble for them that much. This one pair of jeans has a hole in the pocket, i don't remember which one, but basically can't put coins in that. Um. Yeah

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Uh, username doesn't check out?? I suppose you could have thawed long ago and had time to adjust to modern life and aquire many pants

Jk I love how you can write like you've been put on the spot and need to answer quickly

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

Man i've have dozens of usernames spanning 15 years but i ALWAYS get comments about my username being funny lmao

Yeah, the key is to add "umm" and "uhh" here and there. Makes it conversational

Just phone and keys. You guys bring wallets everywhere?

[–] [email protected] -1 points 1 month ago (4 children)

Car-centric infrastructure, baybee! Better have those credentials or you might get shot or imprisoned! Or both!

I'm assuming work and personal?

I've done the same for years, but am thinking of making use of the second SIM slot in my personal phone and using profiles to separate everything. Many phones can also use an eSIM, so that's also an option for multiple numbers.

Left pocket: Mask Grocery bag Earplugs Lip balm Stickers Keys

Right: Phone

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

Front left keys, front right phone. No wallet, I pretty much exclusively use Apple Pay on my watch.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago (3 children)

How do you people sit with anything in a back pocket

Also how do you people keep shit in the same pocket? Hell usually everything ends up in the opposite pocket I first put it in anyway

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

My folding boxcutter has a belt clip and I hang my Gerber Dime on a suspension clip. Both live at the top of my rear pockets. I never sit on them.

Front right is wallet and keys front right mini pocket is pixel buds, milwaukee fastback, and file cabinet key. Front left is just my phone. Back right is work badge. Back left is typically where I collect receipts without realizing it. I also have a pen pocket by my right knee which always has a pen

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

Front right wallet
Front left phone
Keys on a carabiner hang from my rear right belt loop

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

Phone in front right, wallet and keys in front left. When I'm not at work, that's basically it.

I wear a small satchel at work; I keep a water bottle, clipboard, and notepad in the main storage compartment. My satchel has a few side pockets as well; one holds my pens and markers, the second holds a box cutter and a pair of gloves, and the last one holds a small first-aid kit.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

Front left: phone, wallet, headphones (if it's cold and I'm wearing a jacket headphones go in the left pocket of that) Front right: keys Back: nothing

Apparently, pickpockets sometimes put up signs earning of pickpockets, because it causes people to check their pockets for valuable items, showing which pockets they are in

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Jeez everyone carries a lot of shit in their pockets.

I carry my bank card in a side pocket down by my right knee and occasionally keys in the front left pocket.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

Front right: phone. Maybe keys if what I'm wearing doesn't have damn belt loops.

Front left: wallet and earbud case. Maybe a pair of sunglasses if I forget that I can can just tuck em into my shirt collar since I'm a dumbass.

Back pockets: nothin' because I'm not my dad nor a pyschopath.

Bonus: If I'm wearing pajamas with no pockets then I guess it's all going in my elastic band / undies.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Front right, keys and lighter. Front left, cigs. Rear right, wallet. If I must carry my phone with me it'll be probably in the front left pocket alongside the cigs.
