TRUMP SHOULD BE ARRESTED

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

"...but we'll be seeing you at the ICJ for your crimes of genocide soon"

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

And it just went downhill after that.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 day ago

if there'd be elections tomorrow in the US....what would change? absolutely nothing.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Please give him this one!

It's definitely better than anything I would ever come up with myself.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Well its certainty going to be better for the climate than either AF1 or that new piece of shit

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Yes! For the climate! Yes!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

This one is closer to my level of teknologee:

A couple of trips to the scrap Yard, some Amazon orders and we're in business baby!

[–] [email protected] 16 points 2 days ago

Good work President Ramaphosa and I would allow Krasnov to take your Boer trash problem.

America First... Make America Great Again... Anything to distract from the fact than he is living up to no one of the promises he made

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

If they're making America so great, why is it collapsing all around me?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

First let me state that I hate that orange fuck.

However, he has been carrying out some promises that he made I believe. He promised tariffs, and deporting people.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

America First- incredibly misguided tariff scheme, fascism puts the country above others.

Make America Great Again- delete all the progress we've made on civil rights and go back to a time when white people had even more control over everything and people could be openly racist and homophobic without consequence. Many people think that's when America was Great.

Burying the lede a bit here, Trump spent that whole meeting talking about Afrikaner genocide and said that that was what Elon (who was present) wanted.

[–] [email protected] 65 points 2 days ago (1 children)

White South Africans are about 7-8% of the population, and they own the vast majority of urban and agricultural land, and black people are more likely to report being victims of violent crimes.

All in all, Trump is lying yet again.

South Africa is a pretty violent place, but the odds of being better off go up substantially if you have a lot less melanin in your skin cells.

In case you didn't know.

The plane isn't some special gift the Qataris built special for Donnie.

It's a white elephant they've been trying to unload for years.

It's like a fat guy giving the pizza kid the old bike he hasn't ridden since he got over the DUI restrictions.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

It's like that bike if it's also causing the fat guy a ton of money to hold onto.

[–] [email protected] 26 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Trump also asked for it. Before it was offered. So he literally asked for this bribe.....

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Trump could have just called the Saudis on Inauguration Day 2016 and told them his Swiss Bank. He'd have had more money and could have just watched TV for eight years. Greedy and not bright.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 2 days ago* (last edited 3 hours ago) (1 children)

See, that's the icing on the cake.

Dummy Donny was raised so rich that he doesn't know the actual value of anything, and he's so needy from his narcissism, that any "appropriate" gift can manipulate him. Qatar knows this. The entire world knows this. But, they'll get big favors for it, favors that actually matter. They win.

Trump sees it as Tribute, and it is, sadly. And he'll return a favor for Qatar. For something they couldn't unload before. But, they'll come out much better on the exchange.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The art of the deal by the guy whose companies filed for bankrupcy six times.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

That's a bit unfair...you have not mentioned the many other failed businesses that didn't end in bankruptcy!!

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Hopefully a white elephant with lots of unknown problems and glitches that only pop up at 30k feet.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

Sadly, the Air Force has to rebuild it so it can serve as a Presidential plane. That means the 'gift' will cost the taxpayers more than just building a new jet would. One of the reasons the emirs needed to get rid of it is that 747s are old tech and there aren't a lot of mechanics who specialize in them any more.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 days ago (1 children)

And hopefully on the first and only flight.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

Out of Newark

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It is also helping them cover up the brachside resort and golf course and theme park they are building with him.

They'll get favorable treatment when Gaza is carved up between real estate developers.

[–] [email protected] 37 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Additionally, the "fat guy" very likely loaded the "bike" with surveillance-ware and surveillance gadgetry before giving the "pizza kid" the "bike"...

[–] [email protected] 0 points 2 days ago

Nah, they don't have to. Trump is so simple minded, and predictable, they can predict at very high certainty what he'll do.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Additionally, the “fat guy” very likely loaded the “bike” with surveillance-ware and surveillance gadgetry before giving the “pizza kid” the “bike”…

Certainly loaded the bike with surveillance as did all the fat guy's friends and some of their enemies too.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

Also apparently the kid asked the fat guy for the bike in the first place, but said the fat guy had to say it was a gift because the kid has a fragile ego.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Okay this metaphor is getting kind of weird.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 days ago

This is the fat guy in this metaphor

[–] [email protected] 27 points 2 days ago

And expecting free pizza for the rest of the decade for it

[–] [email protected] 37 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Fuck the Qataris just upped the minimum acceptable bribe for everyone else.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

can't blame them for buying Trump and his acolytes so easily...

the tragedy is that the USA has no mechanism to keep their president in check

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

They have the mechanisms but the voters let them all get jammed up with Trump’s sycophants.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

which means the system has severe flaws

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

Yeah the voters.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I mean the Saudis just slapped some golden arches on a Winnebago and fed him shitty food, so there's some wiggle room for sure.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 days ago

I’m sure they were amused at how cheap it was to feed him

[–] [email protected] 152 points 2 days ago

Fkn LOL. Ramaphosa owned that orange bitch
