I just realized that she kind of looks like George W. Bush.

The last time the president said two weeks, you saw [Russia and Ukraine] have direct negotiations for the first time in years,” Leavitt said.

They did not. Just sayan.

Ya know every time I see her I think she looks like the human incarnation of thick water, it's water it's technically the baseline but there's just something fundamentally wrong with it. Before anyone calls her vanilla, vanilla is the standard that all else is compared to.

Is him punting his decision really that bad though? If he's "thinking" about attacking Iran he's not actually attacking Iran. If this is just a tactic to try and ride out the media cycle and hope people forget, in this case that's good, no action on this is currently the best possible scenario.

Trump changing the subject right now to hopefully some dumb performative attack on Harvard and getting the hawks in his administration off his back is probably the best we can hope for right now.

Wonder how much longer Nazi Barbie is going to last before the next bridge troll gets called up to the big leagues.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

She answers every question the same. First, a little bullshit, then blame it on Biden, adding that his administration was bad, and then follow up with even more bullshit.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

You forgot the glazing part. Each answer need to heap praise of the brilliance of the shitgibbon’s approach to, whatever.

Here’s the Psaki video with a bunch of Trump’s two week promises:

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

So, she's calling out the press secretary bullshitting the media, just like she did?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Yeah, I know. But she’s still got a point. And I guess if anyone would know….

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago

LOL, the supercut that Psaki ran of the two-week bullshit from Taco is so hilarious.

Also, this stupid bitch Leavitt talking trash about Biden's admin? LOL, things were great under Biden and this so-called "administration" is a total fucking dumpster fire. She can sit and spin.

Is skewered equal to or more than slammed?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

1 slammed = 2 skewered

1 skewered = 3.7 blasted/put on blast

5 claps back = 3 slammed

Everyone knows these conversations man. Hate to slam you for not knowing but are you living in Luxembourg or something? 🧐

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

It is slammed, but visceral.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

I think skewered despite the violent metaphor is quite mellow compared to the rest. I think it's skewer, slam, blast, rip, smash/smack down, destroy.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

I think my gauge might be wrong. Where does "being asked a question" fall in the skewered-slammed-crushed system? This might be a she was skewered, and the journalist was slammed by her response?

He asked her if Trump would follow through on Iran, she said Biden's at fault for Ukraine. Sooo...

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Definitely less than being ripped

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

But is ripped more or less than smacked down? We need a chart people.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 weeks ago

The media really trying to goad him into starting a war immediately after he said he's considering nuking Iran.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (2 children)

When they take ownership? Everything is still Biden's fault lmao. Will they be saying this 3 years from now???

Get over the fucking Biden admin. Conflicts started on Trump's watch, not Biden's. I swear man. Backed into a corner?! Biden did this!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

In the UK, the Conservatives were shamelessly blaming 'the previous government' (Labour) for shit 12 years after they were last in power...

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

Thanks Obama

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago

That deadline nonsense is Little t trying to focus attention on this one thing.

Pay close attention to what other things go down in the next two weeks.

[–] [email protected] 39 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

She's such a snippy bitch when she answers press questions, as if she's assed out that the press are even bothering her.

[–] [email protected] 42 points 2 weeks ago

It's exactly why they picked her. "Be nasty to the media" was pretty much her only order.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The first three words got my hopes up, ngl

[–] [email protected] -5 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

In fairness, as long as she keeps her trap shut, she's quite attractive.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 2 weeks ago

Meh, she also does her makeup like a grandma I wonder if that’s on purpose to appear conservative?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

Probably a big part of why she got the job.

[–] [email protected] 36 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

She's thick alright, and not just the makeup.

I often wonder if she's as properly dumb as she sounds and she really believes the shit she says, or if she's a true professional striving to do her job to the best of her abilities, even if her job involves lying and saying things that make her look like a dumb bimbo.

I really can't decide.

[–] [email protected] 37 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (2 children)

It’s not stupidity that makes these people believe the things they do, it’s a concerted effort at self-delusion. They simply hate the world the way it is (and the people in it) so they invent a fantasy reality in which they can pretend that we all live because they simply refuse to accept the world for what it is and people for who they are.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Exactly so, and still you listen to people saying that they're dumb, or falling victim to fake news. NO, they are racist bastards, it's that simple.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

What was just described sounds pretty fucking dumb to me. I think we're splitting hairs here

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (2 children)

But... All it would take her is watching a video of herself delivering Trump's BS to realize how mind-numbingly daft and lapdoggish she sounds. It really doesn't take much self-introspection skills to feel ashamed at oneself behaving like that. And she went to university, so surely she must see it too. Nobody can be this blind to one's shameful behavior. That's what puzzles me so much.

Unless, like I said, she's a consummate professional and she chooses to leave her self-respect in the locker when she clocks in in order to do the best job she can.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

I'm not sure some of these people are capable of processing shame in the same way normal people might.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

There’s nothing puzzling about it: they lied to themselves until they believe their own lies. If they were capable of any sort of self-introspection or shame, they wouldn’t be the people they are.

And there’s nothing professional about being a pathological liar and propaganda mouthpiece for a fascist administration.
