The recent college grad previously prompted a complaint after allegedly sending threatening messages over a girl

A 22-year-old loyalist to Donald Trump with no counterterrorism experience is now leading the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) top terrorism prevention office, drawing scrutiny over his past conduct and the administration's alleged sidelining of national security.

Thomas Fugate, a recent college graduate and former Trump campaign volunteer, was appointed earlier this year to run the DHS Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3), which oversees an $18 million grant program meant to combat extremist violence, ProPublica reported in June.

Scrutiny around Fugate intensified this week after The Daily Beast revealed he was investigated in 2020 for reportedly sending threatening messages to someone he was competing with for the affections of a girl.

The first time I saw the news about this guy I said "this guy's eyebrow photo tells me he is a time ticking bomb." Yea...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 5 hours ago

Yeah. It also told me he's a moron.

I am not satisfied with just one foot, it should be at least six feet under that grave.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 11 hours ago

investigators revealed multiple skeletons in Mr fugate's closet. forensic reports indicate the skeletons to be the remains of housepets that perished from a lack of care while Fugate was at summer camp

I think, no I know for fact my neighbors 10 year old daughter is waaay smarter & could honestly kick the pop tarts off of this sucka. I would wager my last 2 nickels on it. His head is in a vice and no one really sees him being around too much longer. His mom had her tubes tied after he was born..She also stated that if given the opportunity once again, she would simply do the right thing and swallow.

Article aside, any dude that thinks arching an eyebrow is great for a professional photo shoot is a fucking douche. Also punchable face.

Probably cheated some guys out of their pikachu cards or something like that.

I once saw a grave digger with both feet in the grave but he was resurrected to the surface by the shovel of one of them mini caterpillar diggers.

SWEET CHRISTMAS HES 22 HOW MUCH FUCKING PAST COULD HE HAVE

It's like his whole vibe is a Seth Rogan joke.

He has by far the most punchable face I've ever seen.

That fucking eyebrow raise that screams he thinks he's sexy. Oh boy I want you to see every blood drop in your body.

You have to be a real piece of shit to be an adult for only 4 years and already have a problematic "past". It's more like it's his present than his past.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 21 hours ago

Bro, that was last summer! Youthful indiscretions!

[–] [email protected] 7 points 23 hours ago

Not that I disagree but I challenge you in the point those are 4 adult years. In my 40s, I don't think I was an adult until 30 lol

Is there a single rightoid zoomer that doesn’t look like an absolute freak? There has to be one handsome or bare minimum normal looking one somewhere.

I don't believe for one second they are actually letting this guy do anything. He's a fall guy. He's going to get fired when something bad happens and they need someone to fire.

So either someone else is running it behind-the-scenes (like how Musk wasn't technically the head of DOGE) or the department ceased functioning (they could be inviting a terrorist attack as an excuse- go to war, declare emergency powers, cancel elections, etc).

Or they just actually gave this guy this job. But that just seems so incredibly unlikely.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

!RemindMe one year

[–] [email protected] 22 points 1 day ago (1 children)

My bet is on trying to manufacture a war/emergency to grab power.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 day ago

100% this is going to happen. Bet on it.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He looks exactly like I would expect.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Full-on blunder years yearbook photo with the People's Eyebrow even

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago

It's the world's most punchable eyebrow.

[–] [email protected] 147 points 1 day ago (2 children)

how awful do you have to be that at 22 your "past" comes back to haunt you? He's barely old enough to have actual adult interactions.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 19 hours ago

I mean, at 22 even the things you did in middle school are less than a decade ago.

[–] [email protected] 55 points 1 day ago

I don't expect too many upstanding citizens to be part of or want to be part of Trump's gang-I mean administration
