Jesus just flooded a Christian camp; it may be a sign Jesus does not approve of Christians in America.*

*poor joke expressing my general frustrations, I confess. Indoctrinated children shouldn't be responsible for the ignorance of their parents or state and federal officials who stupidly gut weather services and deregulate to the point a camp can be built literally on a fucking dry river bed.

I wonder if they think of themselves as good Christians?

[–] [email protected] 13 points 21 hours ago

Of course they do they are perfect in their own mind.

What's the context?

I'm not American

Drumpy has been promoting their brand new "rapidly assembled" ICE "detention facility" (read: concentration camp) that they (themselves) nicknamed "Alligator Alcatraz" in the middle of the Florida Everglades (middle-of-no-where swamp land)

Also this is a reference to the Zone is Interest which is the area around concentration camps, and also a recent movie about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zone_of_Interest_%28Auschwitz%29

I wonder if there were similar treks during the holocaust?

I am sure of it, it just wasn't documented because smartphones weren't around yet. This will make it hard to claim "we didn't know it was happening!!!" during the US equivalent of the Nuremberg trials

Yeah, that's not happening.

  1. No one who is anti-fascism is going to invade the US
  2. In dicatorships where the corruption was so fucking widespread that over a third of the country collaborated with the fascists, the remenants of society are allowed to return to their jobs and etc and given amnesty. The worst offenders are given prison sentences, but lower ranking "less bad" people propagating this shit end up at best under house arrest. See: Post dictatorship Argentina, Spain, Uruguay, etc.

No one is coming to save us from this.

For those trials to take place, we have to do it ourselves.

I didn't know so much "no contact" could exist in such a small space.

That’s higher than they can count to!

Fascists celebrating the concentration camps. Christ.

Well this time around people cannot say they didn't know anymore

[–] [email protected] 5 points 9 hours ago

They can, and will — and the world will accept it about as well as they did from the Germans.

I hope all their kids/grandkids see this and never talk to them again, at the minimum
