Who the hell says “what the entire fuck”, ever‽

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Nah, they just colloquial terms for emphasis. Though that's not nearly as fun!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

It certainly illustrates the diversity of the word

So, "what in the isomorphic fuck" covers all the bases?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago)

No, because then you enter into Homomorphic fucks.

Beyond that you have the ring of fucks.

Shit gets real within the field of fucks, entering the fuck domains

Further you get Abelian fucks

Best word in the entire English language. Nothing else compares.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

There are absolutely imaginary fucks.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I take "what the absolute fuck" to mean there's a platonic ideal of "fuck" and that's what they're referring to.

But this did make me want to find out the etymology of "absolute" :

(thank|fuck)you, this is going to waste my whole weekend. A visual representation of etymology, that is awesome, I guess I am one of the 10,000 today

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

Yes to all of those.

Source, my time in the Army.

Being all out of fucks to give also implies they are finite and exchangeable.

Are fucks a form of cryptocurrency?!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Just because you are all out of fucks, doesn't really have anything to do with the finite/infinite nature of all fucks.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

If I have none, clearly I have to mine more with my GPU.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The oldest profession traded in it so they are arguably the original currency.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

A good point 😅

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

A currency for sure. Both crypto and not

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 day ago

"What kind of fuckery is this?"

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

None of that implies that fucks is a complete field sadly. If that were the case every bounded sequence of fucks would have an accumulation point. Which actually checks out, if you keep all your fucks within a certain range they're bound to get focused on something. So never mind fucker is isomorphic to the complex field.

Yes, this is correct.

You dont even have to be a math nerd to innately know this.

Like, I'm about to go to work & dispense imaginary fucks all day (because math-lord knows I have no real fucks to give anymore).

(The thing is they are both imaginary as well as irrational fucks, which complicates math a lot & I only work with fuck approximations)

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 day ago (2 children)

what the absolute fuck implies relative fucks; it's not a math term

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

|fuck|

yes it is.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

¿Porque no los dos?

If negative fucks are real, then it would be possible.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

I fucking love science

I've seen that video

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Both mythology fucks.

A special subset of both imaginary & irrational fucks.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

Something's fucky
