5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

It has been reported that this has now been deleted. He called it a joke, but damn what a terrible joke.
It wasn't a joke. That's his go-to excuse when people generally decide he's said something atrocious.
It's also the go to excuse when getting called out when gaslighting someone.

The correct response is for thousands of people to respond on Xitter with, "And no one is even trying to assassinate Musk 🤔"
Which would be worse for him: someone actually trying to do so as a result of said post, or realizing that no one wants to because no one cares enough about him?

Isn't the straightforward answer to his question that people don't want Harris or Biden dead enough to put themselves at risk of death or arrest?
Why be baffled when the answer is obvious?
Because he wants to spread rumors of conspiracy theories, as that is the only thing that would redeem someone like Trump.
He's implying that he thinks that someone should, but even the literal point he's making is not true.
Actually, I suspect he's implying that nobody's trying to assassinate Harris because all the democracy-hating assassins are on her side, or she's the one setting them up, or something to that effect.
It's still the sort of slander which in a reasonable world he'd be called on, but that seems unlikely

This, I've known people who got knocks on their door by the FBI and SS for posting dumb shit they weren't serious about as a "joke." They take that shit seriously I guess only when its lone wolves that can't do as much damage and not people rich enough to fund a small army.
My friend went to a different high school than me and for some reason they had a forum with open sign ups.
The FBI showed up at my school because I said I was gonna punch the mascot in the face...
But rich people have a different set of rules. And people who are unimaginably rich have no rules.
