Tesla’s energy division sells solar panels. The Senate version of the bill would totally repeal federal subsidies to the wind and solar industries for the projects placed in service after 2027.

So he only cares about what Trump is doing when it affects his business. Great backbone you have, Elon.

Billionaires do not come about through ethics and morals unfortunately.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 hours ago

I don't like or trust him but I wish him great luck with that endeavor

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 hours ago

Ooh, look at him. He's big mad

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

I have a feeling the bill hits Tesla or something. Maybe not directly, but with all the anti-environment shit in it that probably includes his shitty EVs.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 hour ago

Yes that's why he's mad

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 hours ago

I always knew that the Trump-Musk love affair was gonna end, but I didn't expect it to disintegrate this fast.

I have a very hard time believing that all of a sudden, this clown gives a shit about "debt slaves". There is no way he's complaining about us peons having to pay for all this spending.

He sure as fuck didn't care how his funding cuts were going to affect the peasant class when he was gleefully setting fire to all our social safety nets...so what the hell is he even talking about?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 7 hours ago

Dude gives zero fucks about anybody but himself.

He can still fuck right off. But ig in these times the enemy of enemy is my friend and all that

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

It's more of a "I hope they kill each other" situation

TBH still my enemy, I'd say. His methods are still about leveraging his ill-gotten wealth to manipulate American politics in his favor. No matter which end he accomplishes, the means are still a complete breach of the democratic process, in my opinion.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 7 hours ago

Im pretty hesitant to call him my "friend" but rn he's one of the only people with enough power to really derail anything. I assume he'll go back to being a dipshit soon but for the first time in my life I agree with the dude

[–] [email protected] 62 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

The enemy of my enemy is still my enemy, but I'll let them fight it out.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

The enemy of your enemy isn't necessarily your enemy. But in this case...

[–] [email protected] 10 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Don't believe it for a second. He gives no fucks about the debt, he's only mad because they're coming after the free money tap ("green" energy incentives) that all his parasitic companies depend on.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 hours ago

Oh I'm well aware, that's why I implied that he is also the enemy. But the enemy of your enemy, is just that, your enemies enemy. IF he can do damage, I'll sit back and watch.

[–] [email protected] 30 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

I think this is all theatre. He will still be playing the bank when election time comes around

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 hours ago

Agreed this is for entertainment/Kayfabe purpose. Just noise at this point. You know his values and what he has delivered with DOGE.

[–] [email protected] 49 points 8 hours ago

I'm still never going to buy a Tesla.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 hours ago

I’ll never forget…but this will certainly fucking help dissolve the hatred.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago) (1 children)

He got manipulated by the game and now he wants vengeance. ...but nothing will change even if every citizen teamed together.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

If we had 100% we could change things.

So then that calls for marketing. For marketing you need money. For money you need them, because you need to play their systems of profiting. They already have the people, they already have the marketing.

This is a battle people can't win without sacrifice.
