Xinjiang is above the national average for Chinese birthrates : https://www.statista.com/statistics/1179703/china-birth-rate-by-region-province/ All of China's birthrates have been low, and when there was a limit on how many Children people in China could have, Xinjiang and all ethnic minorities were exempt from the policy. Additionally, it makes sense that as education in general, sexual educational specifically, and contraceptive access grows, birth rates will lower. More educated people everyone on Earth have less kids and have them later. People who had never had access to contraceptives and start to use them will suddenly not get pregnant.

This is not evidence of a cultural genocide, it is evidence of birthrates going down at a slower pace than the rest of the people in the country they live in. China actually has a crisis of wanting more people to have kids than they are having. South Korea and Japan are having similar issues to China in this regard, it is not a unique thing in the region for birth rates to be falling. For Uyghurs to specifically have higher than average birthrates, it really shows that there is no way you could argue there is statistically significant evidence that Uyghurs are being denied the ability to have kids.

Now, can you name a single element of Uyghur culture that is being repressed? You tried with kids in general, which isn't an element of Uyghur culture anyway so doesn't really make since for your claim of a cultural genocide, but that has been proven to be false. Aside from your source being the literal governments of China's enemies and the weapons manufacturers who want to profit off war with China, the entire premise is proven to be false by the data. Explain to me how it's possible to mass arrest a population of millions of peoples equipped with information age communication tech and have no leaks, no massive influx of refugees fleeing to neighboring countries, no tech-savi peoples managing to get information and evidence out despite the government restrictions, not a single official out of the hundreds of thousands needed for an endeavor that size deciding "that's kinda messed up actually" and intentionally leaking information to someone oversee, no nothing.

Do you think Xinjiang is a giant barren fucking plain or something? There are massive cities there, with millions of inhabitants, the majority of whom do have phones. And I mean, sure, no one would build their extermination camps near a big city, but what of the "genocided" population living in the city? Are we supposed to believe that no one out of the millions Uyghurs living in Urumqi are noticing their families, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc disappearing one by one or seen the Chinese cops round up peoples? Or are you arguing that this "genocide" is happening only in the countryside and small towns and that the big cities are spared for fear of word getting out?

xinjiang is already a remote province and the detention camps are not in the middle of the cities.

Chinese people generally don’t use the Western apps you seem familiar with anyway, as those media sharing apps are blocked in China, but even if they did, every photo, every video, every blog about the uyghur genocide and all other non-approved CCP topics gets filtered and blocked before being posted within the country and especially before leaving the country.

This control over their online space isn't magic you marvel brained amoeba. It's a team of certainly computer assisted but still very much humans moderators and administrators monitoring a user-base of over a fucking billion users, just by sheer number, there have to be leaks, even without mentioning any tech-savi enough peoples to find ways around it. And since we're on the subject of getting info out, how about the Chinese tourists visiting other countries and therefor having plenty of time to access a non CPC monitored connection? What about the Chinese diaspora?

By the way, Chinese peoples can use VPNs to connect to other countries and no, contrary to what you might have been told, it isn't illegal to do so (if you want to argue that it is I once again ask that you provide the relevant piece of legislation), you just don't see them because, well, their primary language is Chinese so they will primarily interact with content and sites in Chinese.

You are living in delusional land, even the simplest VPN service bypasses 100% of restrictions on internet access in China, people can post literally anything once on VPN. This is DPRK reporting levels of delusion where westoids think they build all this public housing and waterparks and restaurants to show the 200 or so tourists that actually visit how great they are. When you see thousands of people in Kashgar or Urumqi going to Mosque do you believe they are being forced to practice their religion to appease western tourists? Do you not think it would be more logical that they are simply Muslims doing Muslim things? God forbid people in Xinjiang genuinely enjoy their lives right? Xinjiang has hundreds of millions of tourists every year. So you're saying that the hundreds of millions of people who pass through Xinjiang see the ten million Uighurs living there, running the majority of businesses, residing in the majority of houses, clearly speaking a different language which is written on every sign, going to the 24,000 mosques in Xinjiang, those ten million people are actors, pretending to be Uighurs, but have actually been brainwashed into performing Uighurness for the hundreds of millions of tourists while personally no longer desiring to follow the cultural standards they have been forced to reject? Am I getting that right?
