The price of eggs has even lowered at Costco. It was $7.69, now $6.89. But I think the tiger brand rice cooker went up $10.

I just realized I posted a picture of $7 eggs and said it was a good price. Crazy times that we live in.

Did lemmy.world admins remove the post? Or did a mod from nottheonion remove your post? The two actions are very different.

At the community garden that I'm part of, last year, we bought what we called, "an investment hose" it was a durable, good quality hose, more expensive than any other hose we've ever bought. It was supposed to last us for years. But for some reason, it's gone missing. The person that removed our hose removed the sprayer and left it for us.

The person that stole our hose certainly had good taste, because they stole our expensive, good hose!

I'm not sure what to make of this. We've never had a hose stolen before. People pick our produce, try to walk out with our tools, someone tried to once plant a tree in the middle of the path. People do weird things in our garden. But the hose being stolen is a first. It's upsetting, but mostly inconvenient.

Do we still care about egg prices?

The license says 9PEN155. I think it says PENIS. The driver was a man. Did this guy win the license plate lottery? Or did he pay for a vanity plate that was subtle enough that it got through the censorship?

They still had some eggs that were $9.99 for a dozen but it was nice to see them for under $7.

I did recently wake up early one day and go to Costco before they open just to get two dozen eggs for $7.69.

Mission grocery outlet on south van ness seems like a good choice for eggs right now.

Spice 24 has only been open less than a year, but I've already noticed their food has been declining in quality, becoming much more oily. Now they've been shut down for 10 days due to mice. I would go here because it was $5-$10 cheaper than mission curry house, but now I'm considering not coming back.
