I ditched air cooling because of the sound of the fans ramping up and down whenever I did anything briefly intensive, like installing a package.

Fedora are always pushing boundaries, when you operate in that mode you're going to push a little too hard some times and I wouldn't want it any other way. This is still only a proposal, and I'm confident it won't pass.
