Friend sent it to me and i thought it was his, but he just sent it because he thought it was cool. It came from r/ and i think the artist uses the name Legion.

Yeah. I noticed that as soon as i posted it. Didn't know whether to edit or delete and repost.

Zero. I call my husband the squirrel whisperer. He makes a sound that draws the squirrels to him. If we're in a park and he sits down, i have to walk away - within a few minutes a dozen squirrels will start creeping him and it's terrifying!

We will probably see some good ads the day before the debate to get him riled up.

If it were just about protecting the public, they would require a label of ingredients, which most items already have.

No. Only ∆9 is limited. Per the farm bill, thca is hemp, so the same stuff you would buy at a dispensary can be legally purchased online and shipped to all but a handful of states. It's all about the money.

Congrats on being adopted! We've done new kitty in a room for a couple of days, then old kitty in the room for a couple of days while new kitty learns the house. Then, when they start pawing under the door at each other we open it. We did not do this with the last kitty and now we have cat fights several nights per week.

Because it cuts into profits and taxes from dispensaries.

Well, if you put that million dollars somewhere that makes a bit of money and follow the 4% rule, you could take out $40k each year and maybe help 4 kids attend a state school every 4 years.

Yeah. I don't really know why i shared all of that. Just struggling to make sense of something senseless, i guess. i visit several schools per day and we all whine about the inconvenience of badge fobs, locked classrooms, being required to put the alert app on our phones and then having it constantly going off all day with every drill at every school, etc. Then when something like this happens i feel shitty for whining, heartbroken for those families, and thankful that it wasn't my schools, teachers, kids, ... It sucks. And the worst part is that we know it will happen again and again. Rambling...sorry.

I grew up in a rural area with just my mom. We had two handguns and a shotgun hidden in the house. Anytime we went walking in the pasture a gun came with us in case of snakes or wild dogs and a couple of times per year i was required to shoot at cans with each one. I wasn't interested in them and didn't like shooting them, but understood her desire for me to feel comfortable using them 'just in case'. We often took long road trips to visit family and would stop to nap in rest areas for a few hours. The small handgun was always beside the driver's seat. It was the 70s and early 80s and nothing was locked. 22 in the nightstand drawer, 38 in a dresser drawer, and shotgun behind her bedroom door - all loaded and ready. It didn't seem weird; it was just what my mom did to try to keep us safe.

Yes! The Trump Show. Good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.

If you use "they" to describe a nameless group of people and you mean anyone other than The Man (That's how they get you.), you're probably the one who's wrong.

Looking forward to reading some fun exceptions.

I'm not great at determining when something is AI. Is there an app or community for asking if an image is real or AI?

When i was young I thought my mom's colorful decor was ridiculous. Now I'm old and my kids think I'm ridiculous for wanting colorful everything. Is that a thing?

Not enough to follow them around, but i would see them if they came to town and I'm kind of looking forward to watching the Netflix show when I'm home alone Monday.

I'm missing the drop notices and reviews from r/, but not enough to go back.

Where's the button to set default comment sorting?

I popped into r/ today to read about furniture and now I'm feeling kinda dirty. Maybe i should donate to lemmy as penance.

I got a good deal on some pecan and i was planning to use it to build patio furniture. I don't know much about pecan and I'm having trouble finding much info about it. Is this a good wood for outdoor use or should i find an indoor project for it?
