Isometric New Vegas in the style of fallout 1/2 is something I need now that the idea has been planted in my head.

The problem with that is how they updated the end to add the end cities and other floating islands. If the end was just the dragon fight without the end cities like it used to be, I'd consider it more of a proper ending. Otherwise I'd consider it just like the warden or wither: a respawnable boss for a certain dimension. Though that's just my opinion.

Biggest problem I have with a movie like this is them trying to make a movie out of an endless sandbox game. If a game has a definitive end, then sure it's fine. Just look at the Fallout show and Sonic movie.

Imagine if for some reason The Powder Toy suddenly became a huge thing and they decided to make a movie out of it. Where do you go while not being lame? That's how I feel about this upcoming film.

At this point, there are definitely plenty, but I'd personally say my top picks are definitely (in no particular order):

• Brok the Investigator

• Franklin (yes I'm a child at heart sometimes)

• New Vegas and the DLCs

• Borderlands (on xbox360 w/ all 4 DLCs, have been playing on and off for over a decade and still have way too much stuff left)

• An American Tail (definitely in my top 3, if not my absolute favorite 3D animated film ever)

In other news, oil tycoons have already begun making as much propaganda as possible as to why the world needs Antarctic oil for your car and why it's more environmentally friendly than any other source of fuel.

I'd say /s but I'm pretty sure they're still putting out pro oil propaganda because their lives and riches depend on destroying the planet.

Definitely would have to cut parts and make serious edits if they made a remake of the original instead of the upcoming sequel, but Beetlejuice.

The slit wrist joke would definitely be cut. The ghost advisor woman who smokes through her neck would most likely be on the chopping block due to the decline of smoking. The scene where Beetlejuice is stuck on the diorama and goes to the hooker/strip club(?) would probably be out. And the scene that would without a doubt be completely removed or reworked entirely no questions asked in a modern remake would be the scene with the centuries old creep Beetlejuice trying to marry an underage teenager.

Call me a bit old fashioned, but Lupin III. Regardless of which part or movie, I tend to enjoy some of the sometimes wacky antics that occur.

I don't know, but if I ever create a meme game (assuming I ever got the opportunity), I'm definitely gonna market it as a AAAAAAAAAA game that was so good we had to downgrade it to a meme because your face would melt just by looking at the title screen due to how high quality it was.

As an arachnophobe, I personally made it my mission to block that community without looking so I'd never have to see it again. Can't stand spiders.

Absolutely agree with point 2, not just for Mastodon, but others like here on Lemmy or Misskey or whatever it may be.

The process of finding an instance can sometimes be annoying because you might find an instance that sounds alright, like I did for Mastodon, and then find that there's the problem of sign-ups not available. That, and signing up for the instance I got on then had a waiting period for account review and all that before I could do anything.

I assume, from what I've heard, all you gotta do for threads and bluesky is just sign up and start posting with less effort, which is what the majority of people want.
