Sean Combs, known as Diddy, was arrested on Monday, according to a person with knowledge of the investigation.

Diddy's attorney, Marc Agnifilo, issued a statement saying, "We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office."

What is it with all these celebrities and powerful people committing sexual assault? It’s not that hard to find a consensual partner as a random ordinary guy, so how the fuck can you not find one as a rich and famous celebrity?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago

It's the lack of consent that's the turn-on for them. See: Deshaun Watson.

New piece of shit to center stage!

Woohoo!

Nice to have a little break from the endless cheetoh-douche parade.

This month, Combs listed his home in Los Angeles that was raided in March for $61.5 million.

How ostentatious does a "home" have to be to cost that much? I mean, I can sort of imagine a ten million dollar home (from movies and television). I can't imagine this.

Having seen that hotel physical abuse footage, I'm glad they finally arrested him. Hope they nail him at trial. Sounds like there's a lot for which to get him.

Real state is not just about the square area, or even the construction on top, but mostly about location. The cost is not about how big or luxurious of a mansion it is, but because it means living surrounded by other millionaires. If you scout the area, you notice it is one of the biggest houses around that place and the price, while outrageous even by the area standards, is not that far up next one, and about half of the most expensive one.

I don't have the slightest idea, but I have seen small houses in the 10s of millions JUST because of the view

Reads comments about how Sean Combs aka Diddy is a piece of shit

Decides to read Sean's wikipedia page.

Seeing as how these rappers are essentially a brand/corporation into themselves? Couldn't you take down someone like Diddy with a RICO case?

[–] [email protected] 28 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Sean Combs, known as Diddy

Also known as P. Diddy, Puffy, Puff Daddy...

Probably no surprise he's been arrested with all the aliases.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago

Also known as Dr. Jinx

[–] [email protected] 16 points 3 months ago

Add P Diddle to the list

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 months ago

He's not going nowhere he's staying right here he can't be stopped blew because he's a badboy for life

[–] [email protected] 48 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Wait, you can just take somebody into custody when they're indicted? 🤔

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 months ago

Indictment means that a grand jury have decided to charge you with a crime. The judge puts a warrant out for your arrest.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Diddy only fits 2/3 of the criteria for that

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

At first I thought you were making a three fifths compromise joke.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

I think it's time to watch the party die

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Out of the loop, who and why?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

I’ve noted that you are a superior human who doesn’t waste your time with celebrity nonsense. I assume that’s what you were going for with this comment.

I found out by clicking on the link. This hypertext thing really is something!

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Very informative, thanks! I totally understand what it's about now.

Note: pressing continue doesn't solve it, the instructions that follow don't work because my adblock is DNS-based at system level.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago (2 children)

What if you click continue without supporting?

It actually works. I read over it

Edit: interestingly, that link is now gone

Working on Firefox reader mode for me. Not sure how my extensions are affecting it.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Correct me if I am wrong, I remember he was associated with Chris Brown, helping spotlight them.

Anyone associated with Chris Brown is not in my book, a good person.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 months ago

this roach of a person is much much worse than chris

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago

He signed some great artists but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s a real piece of work
