well seeing as i dont remember whats in them, yeah. One of them is probably something to do with CoW backups. I think.

Emotional support tabs

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago

I open new tabs in separate windows

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago

I refuse to change! Instead i found a way to save and label all this potentially vital knowledge using selfhosted Wallabag.

The deal is: even if I only revisit 5%, it will still be worth it! I believe this has made me a better person.

So your trying to parse my tabs to extract information to exploit me with you say?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago

Yeah, only my browser can do that!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 9 months ago

Yes. And if that turns out to be wrong, I'll close some of them when I run out of tabs that can be opened in a day or so.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 9 months ago

shut up. your not my tab supervisor!

[–] [email protected] 16 points 9 months ago

Why are you calling me out like this? What did I ever do to you?

[–] [email protected] 51 points 9 months ago (2 children)

I'm the opposite. I'm a compulsive window and tab closer. I say I regret closing a tab or window about 30% of the time.

[–] [email protected] 26 points 9 months ago (3 children)

Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen the tab!

[–] [email protected] 24 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Alright let me do that

Ctrl+Shift+T

Ctrl+Shift+T

Ctrl+Shift+T

Ctrl+Shift+T

Ah dang it I must've used that tab to search for something else. Oh well

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Ctrl+H to open history then!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (2 children)

Yeah that's usually my strategy

Bookmarks are more incriminating

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago

Not OP, but it's learned discipline plus I can pretend I'm better than my way-too-many-tabs-open, loser co-workers.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 9 months ago

There's always the history menu.

The little x in the corner

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

it rids you of any regret ?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 9 months ago

It rids you of any regret that's currently displayed on screen, sure.

I really hate how my computer slows down after I open ten thousand tabs

bookmarks don't work for me

[–] [email protected] 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Does anyone have an extension for sorting, saving, and downloading hundreds of thousands of tabs? If I close the tab I lose access to that information forever. I need these tabs for work, school, my kids school, my banking info, my hospital visits, court dates, and that IM tab I had opened that one time I first used tabs.

Make it make sense.
