Nerdy introverted women exist, but they're just hanging out at home playing games too.

The important thing is that they're there when you want them

I have a hard time imagining not doing that if I were rich. The constant motivation to do something to help people would be so strong.

Yeah, this artist draws for the New Yorker. Not sure if this is one that made it into an issue or not though.

I vaguely remember this video circulating, but I don't remember the context. I believe it was a train and that's the emergency response to seeing something on the tracks that you're going to hit: press the emergency stop button and run toward the back of the train.

Even before the insane number of bots that are on reddit today, I believe that subreddit was one of the main ways for astroturf accounts to gain karma quickly. They knew that everyone was just there to look at happy things and would upvote heavily.

I wonder if you'd have to wash it? I guess it's no different than however people with wigs take care of them.

This is current problem in society that we don't tolerate different opinion.

Exactly this. When online platforms become too homogeneous, any deviation from the typical opinions that are shared seems like a terrible, inexcusable offense that someone must do something about - thus, reinforcing the bubble.

We need to be able to disagree with each other and still get along.
