I'd imagine elevation and proximity to the coast affect things a bit. I've seen a similar one for the US that was also quite varied.

I vaguely remember this video circulating, but I don't remember the context. I believe it was a train and that's the emergency response to seeing something on the tracks that you're going to hit: press the emergency stop button and run toward the back of the train.
