Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Because there's s muppet deep down inside each of us controlling our every movement and word. Geez, it's like they never taught you basic biology in middle school.
Why are people talking about cats? That's not how you get a cat to take a pill.
My cat is the best in that regard: either he eats the pills straight or off my hand or I put it on the floor and put his favorite creamy treat on top
I just slip it in the corner of his mouth, right on top of his tongue. Then I give him his favorite treat, kibble fresh out of the bowl.
lucky you, my dog isn't like that. i either have to trick him with cheese or shove it down his throat and hold his mouth closed until he swallows.
My trick is to tap my upper and lower teeth together to poorly simulate chewing (avoiding the pill, of course) and then I'd just naturally feel the urge to swallow.
I'm surprised by the amount of people in this thread having trouble taking pills. It's not really something I've ever thought about or heard other people struggle with but hey there it is
I'm normally fine but something about the shape and texture of the standard ibuprofen tablet just sticks to my throat, or at least feels like it's sticking to my throat.
It took me a long time to get over it. I'm still not the best at taking pills.
I suspect some people just naturally have a harder time than others with it.
Does this work on human children, or just cats?
I don't think it works on cats :(
You throw it in their mouths and rub under the lower mandible until it goes down. It's not too hard, assuming your cat isn't an asshole.
Im one of the lucky few where my cat just eats pills out of my hand like a treat. He is not smart enough to know the difference.
That's a mighty big assumption
Was going to say the same thing.
All right but if you do that you lose a chance for some “sanctioned for the greater good” violence on the little kid. I hear there are parents who would pass on that but mine sure wouldn’t.
