~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

Okudagrams are so beautiful. It's a very specialized form of art.
LCARS is quite impractical as an actual OS design, but it's very nice to look at.
True. LCARS is designed to fill the screen and look functional. All the buttons and labels with the 65-55320 on it remind me of the labels in our projects before the developer loaded the translation file.
Although the reverse, the minimalism in modern OS, sometimes make it hard to see what is actually part of a window.
At least the fandom has a big body of work to meme from.
The Avatar fandom has about 48 hours of total runtime. And novels that, tragically, no one memes.

This is one of the best SG1 episodes.

Not only for the humor and the great puzzle that groundhog day dilemmas always give, but the part at the end where he talks about his son (referencing the movie which I think is the only time?) to convince the guy to give up trying to bring his wife back...that is great writing.
His kid is still a major character event through the first couple seasons, but it falls off by S4.

Except that Jack never does figure out what Daniel was talking to him about that the beginning of the loop! They had time to put people in Farscape makeup for episode 200, but throughout the rest of the series we never learn what that was.
