Reminds me of Wallace's smile:

I completely understand.

I spent a semester of college working at Home Depot. It was a terrible experience and awful in so many different ways that I consider it my second worst job experience, only slightly behind the holier than thou "Christian business" that didn't pay its employees and actively committed fraud against employees, clients, and the government. 25+ years later, I still don't like to shop at Home Depot, it was so bad.

This definitely makes me want to quit my job and work at Home Depot.

She is saying "cheese" which causes your mouth to pull up more. What you should say if you want to make an effective smile is sadly "money" as the "ey" on the end cause a slight smile that photographs better.

But cheese makes me happier. Money is just a means to buy more cheese.

Reminds me of the ronald mcdonald thing from john dies at the end, only sharing the relevant part because it's pretty nasty

::: spoiler nsfw But it was those eyes that got me. His expressive cartoon eyes pulsed with a terror about to boil over into madness. Tears streaked his face, sweat beaded his forehead. Those eyes pleaded with me, looked right into me and screamed for mercy. Begged to be put out of his misery. Those eyes told a story I didn’t want to hear. It was a perfect cartoon rendering, not just of a man eating himself, but of a man being forced to eat himself.

A photo of two employees, male and female. Man is smiling nir ally, while woman is smiling in a painful manner.

Seen this in the wild where I live. Post reminded me of it. xD

Edit: Forgot context. Proudly displayed hiring advertisement on a wall of market known to be overworking it's employees. A lot.

That woman has the smile of the internally dead.

"YOU SMILE FOR THE CAMERA OR YOU'RE FIRED!"

She's making that face, and they are hiring, because of the ICE agents standing behind the camera.

A few years ago an employee died on the sales floor from a heart attack in the Bronx ny. All they did was close the aisle they were in and keep business as usual and management looked at us weird if we requested a day off because we lost a coworker
