Which board are these short stories usually on?
I was once like you, went on 4chan and it was full of porn and racists. There's no one specific board for this, you have to sift through the endless garbage to find these stories.
Which is why these gain traction on link aggregators, because someone else did the hard work of sifting through the crap.
We can't tell you because then you'll go there and we can't have that on our conscience.
You showed them humanity when most of the world doesn't. Of course they have your back.
I guess this is mutual aid. More like food rescue.
