A human christian women let their newborn baby to die in the forest while her and her family fucked off to an impromptu trip. The baby was only found thanks to the dog barking and trying to bring attention to it.

Cats do nothing but sin because they have no soul.

here's an insult I think belongs here:
"unlike AI music, this song has a soul. And that soul deserves to go to hell."

I don't think cars should go to hell though

Autocorrect loves changing cat to car for some reason.

Right and wrong is one thing, sin is another. Sin is doing stuff that God says not to do, morality doesn't really come into it. Cats can't sin because they don't have theistic religion.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Defying an authority figure is not a sin. What if it tells you to do something bad, like slit your sons throat and burn the body? Defining sin as questioning authority is BS.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

That is precisely what differentiates sin from evil. It's why we have two words for those two things. Abraham would not have sinned by killing Isaac as ordered. But it would have been an evil act, and stupid and insane

[–] [email protected] 5 points 16 hours ago

Cats are their own gods. Letting them see the bottom of their food bowl is a mortal sin and you will burn in kitty hell for it.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

By this logic psychopaths do not sin.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 13 hours ago

Explains why so many of them own Megachurches

[–] [email protected] -3 points 18 hours ago (4 children)

Animals can't be evil. Period.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 hours ago

Evil is a human definition. I'm sure there have been tigers/bears/sharks/hippies that have gone on killing sprees that have been defined by humans as evil, though they were working well within their own natural framework of aggression.

*I meant hippoes, not hippies, but the statement stands.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 15 hours ago

Cats are definitely evil. Adorably so, sure, yet evil nonetheless.

Dolphins, too. Cruel, rapey bastards, the lot of them. Orcas in particular probably enjoy killing and hurting their prey almost as much as cats.

Most birds are evil in a stupid birdbrained sort of way, even the smart ones. Should've gone extinct sixty-five million years ago with the rest of the dinosaurs, the bastards.

Chimpanzees are almost as creepily evil as humans (not bonobos, though; they just want to get along and fuck as much as possible).

And then there's us.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

Homo Sapiens, subfamiliy homininae, suborder Haplorhini, is a animal too.

Btw, chimpanzee wage war and crows bully in groups.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 18 hours ago

Yeah, bullshit.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 18 hours ago (2 children)

If the first statement were true then Adam and Eve did not sin because they literally did not know right from wrong until eating the literal fruit of the knowledge of food and evil.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

They literally didn’t exist. It’s a story made up by people to scare children.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 hours ago

It's a weird story though because the moral seems to be that even adults don't do what they're told. And sometimes your sister is hot.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (2 children)

They were literally told what they were allowed and not allowed to do before they ate that fruit.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 8 hours ago

They literally did not know what they were doing was evil because they literally did not know right from wrong.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Yes, but they didn't understand that not following God's orders was bad. They weren't capable of making moral decisions because they hadn't eaten the fruit yet.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (1 children)

If you follow the story, it’s apparent that the end was engineered. And that the real villain was not the snake or adam nor eve but god itself

[–] [email protected] 6 points 15 hours ago

The serpent is a Promethean figure and is forever disfigured because of it.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Me, a homo sapiens, belonging to the animal kingdom

[–] [email protected] 4 points 16 hours ago

This homo bragging about being a kween. Work, bitch! 💅

[–] [email protected] 24 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah it's bullshit. Pro-social animals like dogs, primates, elephants understand group norms and social expectations e.g. appeasement behaviour. Its probably how our own "morality" developed as a species.

And there's evidence to suggest some species like dolphins absolutely do exhibit moral type behaviour like fairness and cooperation.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 20 hours ago

Your examples, and honestly calling it bullshit, operate under your human understanding of right and wrong.

cat: stares intently at the growling human while slowly pushing the mug off the table

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 hours ago

Cat: I'm bored. Let's see if I can get the hairless ape 20x my size off the couch. Ooh! I bet they can't get over here before this hits the ground.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 20 hours ago

This isn't right or wrong; it's a guaranteed reaction.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

After years of training to know what the word ‘No’ command means.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

It doesn't take years of training, they just don't care.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 15 hours ago

Oh, they do care. That's why they do it.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 22 hours ago

Years of training the human by playing stupid you mean.
