I came here to:
- State the obvious response for the article's question: Yes.
- Up-vote just about every commenter for this post.
They're also coopting far left groups to further their goals as well. Lets not kid ourselves.
Where do you think all the 'don't vote because X' reasons suddenly came up a few months before the election in leftist circles?
I mean some people legitimately were not comfortable with supporting any candidate that wouldn’t address the ongoing genocide in Palestine. I voted for Harris, a lot ofpeople did because they understood what was at stake and that obviously Trump would be worse. But there were a lot of people who just couldn’t do it. Yeah I get at a lot of them, but I also would be lying if I said I didn’t understand why they did it.
All this is to say I would not attribute most of those people to “Russia.” We have to talk to them too about how we want to move forward instead of writing them off as brainwashed/incapable of coming to the conclusion on their own.

What, did The Base founder fleeing to Moscow or the Russian honeypots oddly popping up in right wing protests give it away?
We learned a decade ago that every adversarial government in the world targets the right specifically because they're gullible and credulous. We know that because they told us they do.
One of the defining characteristics of this era is the legacy media from time to time timidly noting the possibility of something that's been recognized as at least nearly certain down here in the trenches for months or even years.
Of course Russia is co-opting far right groups to attack western democracies. Any honest person who's been paying attention should've figured that out by now - it's not like they've been subtle about it or anything. And it's been commonly recognized for months now (and less commonly asserted for years).
But at this late date, along comes the Guardian, hesitantly saying, "Um... well... you know... it might just barely be sort of possible that maybe...
