nongshim potato noodle soup is my favorite cause the texture of the noodles are so bouncy and chewy!!! i also get indomie mi goreng lots and maggi two minute masala noodles πŸ˜‹

Whatever noodle is 5 for a dollar at the Dollar Store.

If you mix the fake beef and fake chicken flavors togetherβ€”and add a little soy sauce and chili oilβ€”they're almost as good as the real deal!

samyang has the best noodles but the flavour packets are mid

Neoguri udon, half of the powder packet with a couple shakes of habanero powder. My nose wants to run just thinking about it.

these are the best noodles for sure, but i don't think much of the flavouring

Lobe the sambal goreng ones with crunchy onions. Bought a 30 pack box of them recently. Another favorite are these Korean fusion ramens. They got stuff like bulgogi alfredo and kimchi rose.

Anything else I need to doctor up to my preferences.

Shin Green, Indomie Mi Goreng, Shin Black, Buldak spicy, buldak carbonara is actually really tasty lol. Indomie is probably the best bc it's the most flavorful while keeping empty calories low

Most Korean (maybe general east asian) grocery places should carry this which I personally find it hard to go back to shin after trying this one out.

these are my favorite, I like to put stir fried onions, bell peppers, mushrooms in them sometimes any leftover

spoilermeat or spam or an egg

I make them by just boiling water in an electric kettle, letting the noodles soak for like 5 min while i stir fry the veggies in a wok then drain the noodles and toss them in the wok and add the sauces its really quick. sometimes i make 2 packs and save some for lunch the next day

I really enjoyed extra spicy Uncle Shaw Liuzhou Luo Si Rice Noodles. It's nice and spicy but not like Buldak spicy, and it comes with a shitload of stuff. Lots of pickled veggies and dried tofu skin, and the broth is river snail flavored. The noodles are really good too, good chew.

Shin Ramyun and Nissin's regular bag noodles, except for the chicken and beef ones because those actually have beef and chicken bits in them.

hell yeah

there's also these in australia - not sure if they're a kkkrackerised recipe or more premium or what, but this one rules

CW animal productsabsolutely goated with softboiled eggs, bonus points for marinading them

I like instant teokkbokki more than noodles - yoppoki makes pretty decent ones, plus they have rappoki variants where you get rice cakes and noodles.

They stock them at big chain Asian grocery store near me.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 12 hours ago

The Buldak carbonara tteokbokki is one of my current favorite Mountain Dew Zero delivery mechanisms, because I usually have to chug two to three cans of the stuff to put out the fire. It's surprisingly tasty before it gets to that point, though. That said, it's no Shin Black, but it's really damn good for cheesy bear mace.

I've had like four people mention that in the last couple weeks which is sorta weird because I dont think ive heard it mentioned before.

I had to look but its carried at the grocery store near me. If its in stock ill grab some and try it. It sounds like it could be good.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 hours ago

Making tteokbokki fresh is pretty easy, too, and only takes like 30 minutes or so. Granted, that's not helpful for cases where you need lunch to be ready in a few minutes!
