People should start sending these letters to registered MAGA voters.

This is brilliant; thanks for the idea.

Good thing people don't have the same last names.

Sorry, we meant to kidnap, torture, and kill the suspected terrorist Tuttle, not Buttle. Honest mistake.

Welp...upper half of the Family Guy color chart.

Serious question though: what happens if this letter hits your spam and you never see it?

Edit: from the article:

Frantz also says DHS has apologized “profusely” for the error, but he’s still frustrated that it happened in the first place.

He also says if you or anyone you know received a deportation letter by mistake, take action before it’s too late.

"Oops! Sorry! Didn't realize you were a white guy! Our bad!"

Sounds like the same thing as the spam Chinese calls we were getting in the US. These calls threatened to deport people.

More government inefficiency from the Donvict administration and their projection. Who's actually incompetent and inefficient? Or rather, the incompetence and inefficiency are the point.

Now's your chance, mate.

They're not mistakes, they're probes, to see how far they can push, to see what legal arguments hold up in court.

I saw this when it popped up in my news feed yesterday or the day before. My first thought was to send them a letter back, including their original letter, saying simply:

Dear Fascist,

Regarding your previous letter: Fuck off.

Sincerely,
Pigtails

Perhaps with more flowery wording, but that would be the jist and all this bullshit deserves. Maybe somebody here can help write a more polite, yet insulting reply?

For anyone that does get one of these letters and doesn't want to risk an terrorist led kill squad at their door, the experts are recommending that you gather proof of your citizenship and contact an immigration attorney immediately.

One of my personal favorites is to refer them to the response in Arkell v. Pressdram (1971)

Elon's "whiz kids" that are "assisting" all these agencies can't write a where clause if their life depended on it.

Copied and pasted from xai no doubt.
