Check them out. Some are great (Cranberries and Blur for example). I also guess you'll know more than you think.
Nirvana In Utero is my favorite record of all time.
They aren’t my favorite band, but my god that record hits me right where I need it.

The axes make no sense for Pulp who are equally angry, sad, and horny.

While there's a lot of disagreement on where bands belong, I think Rage Against the Machine as the pinnacle of Angry Music is one we can all agree with.

I'm guessing the reason that The Cure (debut LP from 1979) is on this list is that it was made by an american, that first heard them because of "Friday I'm in Love"?
