rogan himself used to admit he was a dumb guy with laymans opinions, the problem was other dumb people saw him as a messiah and started taking his shit-take water cooler opinions as smart, and then he started thinking his opinions were correct.

The night trump got elected the first time was the night he finally lost touch with any reality and showed his true colours.
The End of the World Podcast was started by Stanhope as a joke, but you could tell as the night went on that people like Doug and Burr realized something bad was coming. Rogan came back to the show, drunk as fuck after doing a set, and started shitting on them for being so dramatic. He knew his bubble of privilege just got more secure so screw everybody else, especially his idiot followers.
Joe Rogan was better when he realised he was a big dumb ape that didn't know anything and was surrounded by people who checked him. When he moved to Texas he was surrounded by yes men, but to be honest I think the ego started shifting before that. He used to do some great interviews, but yeah.
