Not technically my first lease, but the first one that I'm financially responsible for which is pretty neat...
Ya know I was gonna say "all things considered" at first but I realized that it's actually only neat if you consider only a small portion of things. If you consider all things, you would realize that paying rent in a post-scarcity world is laughable
nothing
My baby celebrating her first birthday. Soon she will be able to start walking and eat normal food, so it will be much less effort to take care of her.
When they start hitting the toddler stage, shit gets even more real.
I wish you the best of health and happiness for your family
This is my second baby, the first one is three years old. So in my experience it's much more fun once the child can go to the playground, starts to talk and gradually learns to do things independently. Though there are also difficulties, and of course every child is different.
My wife and I are finally in a place where we're financially comfortable enough to book tickets to things. So we're seeing Alanis Morissette in Cardiff in July, then we're off to the Royal Albert Hall in September for a performance of Holst's Planets.
These aren't big things by any means, but her mobility isn't great and our income hasn't been amazing, so it's nice to have something on the calendar that isn't a reminder of a bill that needs paying.
Paying off my medical loans.
Hollow knight silksong. Bait used be believable
Gonna get half life 3 first ๐
All the fantasy characters that my little niece comes up with. There's Ella, for example, who runs a dinosaur zoo, or Bruno, the cloud architect (he's not an IT guy).
For someone to push the red button and end humanity once and for all
I have about a bunch of plants that should fruit for the first time this year.
I plan on recovering an ounce of gold from a creek I stumbled upon purposely
I saw a shiny penny on the street today. I think that's the realistic version.
In Australia that's roughly $1100
I've already pulled 7 grams from a very small section of crevices over roughly a 6 hour period
Man, I wish I could be as upbeat about this year as you. I like your energy, even if you seem to be hellbent on proselytizing prospecting.
Oh and I'm not proselytizing. The less people that prospect the more gold for me.
It's keeping me sane. If I stop moving I may just lose my shit
Not in Australia. Lol
Recovering how?
Technically, most of the gold in the creek is from the tailings of the old timers. They lost it so I'm gonna recover it. So far I've pulled 7grams out of an area no bigger than 6'x3"x4" deep. It's stupidly rich ground
Didnโt this exact question get asked a week or so ago? Three months too late
Remodeling a house and hope to move in by summer.
Currently slightly motivated to get a microcontroller toolchain working and do a deep dive. Maybe a cat toy, or maybe something else. If I can find a FOSS IDE setup I can tolerate, maybe more.
