His neck hair makes my neck itch.

This “plastic existence” reminds me of Refractions in the Plastic Pulse-a great Stereolab track. Has very limited commentary in this context, though, worth listening to for many tasteful beeps and boops. I will say that some of the French lyrics translate to English as “in endless action, without trophy or glory, in endless action, without profit or victory, a bottomless creation..”

Oh good, just what we need.

More 15-year-old girls.

The AI. They're using it to produce 15-year-old girls. You actually looked at the picture before commenting, right?

Oh heck. I forgot the /s

its funny that he still has a weak chin in this incarnation

Hate to break it to ya but they're still not alive, just more realistic-looking.

This is an image with captions; usually these are meant as metaphors, jokes, fiction, or exaggerations.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Okay but it says “They brought us to live with AI” as a sort of fourth wall breaking. Even within this context that's not really true, I get what is meant but it should be phrased differently like “They make us look realistic with AI”, or something in that vein.

I wanna fuck the goth girl now. Damn you AI.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 months ago (3 children)

I can't fuck a cartoon. This is way more realistic.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Fucking a AI generated image, however, ez peasy

My experience with the internet suggests that you are all but alone in that assertion. I was going to say I don't know anything about that personally but Nick Wilde from zootopia did kind of get me (I've always had a soft spot for the trickster archetype).

You do you m8

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 months ago (2 children)

With the right AI she'll have to want to fuck you too. How does that make you feel?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

I'm getting horny AI chat ads constantly on TikTok so it doesn't make me feel too good

Like life is meaningless as is having a soul or not having one.

The guy looks ok similar enough to the meme ( here his hairdo looks like a combed mop though) but the ladies don't resemble the meme that much. I recognize them from their hair and clothing, not so much the faces.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

I disagree. the guy looks nothing like the meme imo. that's just Logan Paul with a big beard

That show has so much promise in the first season! So much wasted potential!!!

Fuck Lost. “It’s better to never reveal the mystery!” That was the guiding principle, to just cake on mystery and keep audiences following like a laser pointer and a cat. I’m an advocate for free speech, but if someone made a law outlawing that kind of storytelling, it might cause my resolve to waver. At least Stephen King will write an ending, even if it’s the third deus ex machina in a row, you’ll get an ending!

“It’s better to never reveal the mystery!”

Nothing is as good as your imagination!

Fuck you, you're the "creative", your entire job is to be better than my imagination. Why am I paying attention/money to you if I wanted to just imagine cool shit instead?

RIP Chapelle, the fat guy out there is a government stooge that replaced the real Chapelle who's currently in Africa.

People forget how crazy the speculation was in those pre-streaming days. Like D&D (the Game of Thrones hacks), I think they thought they had to go in a different direction than fans guessed, or they "lost". That's not their job. Literal millions of people watched these shows every showing, there's just no way that no one guesses what happens and posts it online. But their ego was bruised, so they thought they had to go a way that no one was expecting (because it made no sense: Game of Thrones), or say they wanted an unexplainable mystery (so no payoff after years of investment: Lost). The end result is ruining an incredibly popular, critically-acclaimed show...

All my homies hate the D Bros.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Yeah, it's easily one of my favorites, even though I've never finished it. I was deep into the third season, then I googled something about the show and discovered the last season got cancelled. I thought it was pointless to continue, since one entire season is a gap too big to fill with theories.

Just another brick in the wall of cancelled masterpieces, just like the TF2 Webcomic.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

There were more seasons of Romeo & Juliet??

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

I was talking about Westworld, an HBO show about AI, androids and "humanity". And yes, I know the original quote is from Romeo and Juliet, but quoting Dolores fits perfectly given the context

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

There could be zombie Romeo and Juliet I suppose.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 2 months ago (3 children)

Why do the guys look like that Paul guy? The one who "fought" Mike Tyson?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

Ok, so it's not just me who sees the resemblance

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I always thought it was the Proper Printing guy on YT

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

I'm not really familiar with him. But looking up pictures, yeah, there's definitely a resemblance.
