Oh god no!

The three major indexes in the US sank after Trump's comments. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the day down 1.4%, the S&P 500 sank 1.75% and the Nasdaq fell 2.6%.

Chicken change. Give the market some time to really sink. It's coming.

I don't want the depression, but I wouldn't mind seeing bankers and stock traders jumping from skyscrapers.

[–] werefreeatlast@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

[–] xzot746@sh.itjust.works 17 points 2 weeks ago

I'm just glad we all saved Gaza by refusing to vote for Harris!

[–] dance_ninja@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

It's not winning, it's about "the libs" losing -- and that's enough for them.

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 30 points 2 weeks ago

I think Canada could win in the long run if we use this as a wake up call to really divest from the USA tbh

The winning-est we'll ever be ever again.

[–] ReallyActuallyFrankenstein@lemmynsfw.com 31 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Someone is winning, but it ain't us.

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 9 points 2 weeks ago

Thanks to a singer song writer named Jesse Welles .... this made me think of a new saying

"There ain't no you in the United States"

Jesse's original lyric was ... "there ain't no you in united health care"

[–] wirebeads@lemmy.ca 46 points 2 weeks ago
