Just a friendly reminder that Philips continued manufacturing CPAPs with a sound dampening foam after learning that the foam caused lung cancer. They covered this up for years and killed/ruined the lives of a number of their customers.
Even after the coverup was discovered, the Dutch government determined that they were dragging their feet on their recall affecting millions of customers. The government also accused Philips of a pattern of not taking recalls seriously.
Sorry for referencing this garbage website, but they're one of the most comprehensive sources of how ghoulishly Philips treated the discovery that they were harming and killing vulnerable customers.
