GOP now supports gender affirming care for themselves, but rejects it for others. That is very on-brand for the GOP.
Gender affirming care for cis people have always being plenty available.

Someone on Twitter was roasting Elon Musk years ago for his jawline surgery, hair implants, and testosterone therapy, all of which is gender-affirming care.
