Some Haitians are legal, and some are "legal" due to this sus app the new administration will be looking into. I think some from that app will stay and some will have to leave, but they'll clear it up.

This won't change. Democrats have to take a lesson in human behaviour. Republican tactics work. Embrace them. Exploit them.

In the context of this chain, it should be noted most immigrants don't go through US grade schools.
Immigrants should do their civic duty as members of the society they wish to join, by learning basic civics.

Right, which is why you educate them and make the case for them to vote for you, or else the other side will spread their disinformation without any competing narrative. That's kind of the entire point of a presidential campaign. Just calling people idiots isn't going to make them not be idiots.
Grocery stores are making record profits. Do they really think they are going to voluntarily cut prices? They know there will be no oversight under trump (not that Biden did anything about price gouging). Prices are going to go up even higher.
Not if people don't have enough money, then they'll take the five finger discount.
I wouldn't put it past the stores to ask for an executive order to make theft punishable by losing fingers.

Anecdotally... About 75% of the right that I know/met.
The other 25% is a mix of racism, greed, and conspiracy theory.
Every time they'll be complaining about the price hikes under Trump, just remind them of why they voted for Trump. This is the best course of action against "collective amnesia" as we call it in Hungary.
Things will have to be really really bad for MAGA to notice and then actually acknowledge issues. Even then they might use excuses and blame others.
COVID handling was objectively terrible, with plenty of examples of mismanagement, but they've basically completely forgotten about it and the 'mismanagement' they might point to are the availability of vaccines, or the ability of workplaces to make people wear masks.
They can also completely ignore the blatant corruption with employing close family members as advisors and diplomats, while on the other side, even leaning on a family name to get a job was too much. Don't forget that they've also come to the conclusion than Jan 6 wasn't bad.
Which is why every time something bad or good happens, I'll be posting #ThankRepublicans over and over. People love to bitch, so put it squarely with them.
How do you come back from it?
Oh alongside the loss of benefits they rely on (which I told them about), the pandemic potential with the worst Kennedy, even their friends which are of varying ethnicities and going to be targeted, the list is.... Long.
