I guess she didn't get it.

She thought it would only apply to Hispanics and Africans or whatever...

True but they had deported her decades ago she re-entered the country illegally by flying to Mexico and driving back across the border. As to criminality, it's a civil offence but re-entering illegally after deportation makes it criminal, so she is what her son voted for :)

She has to take some blame for her own stupidity surely ? got away with it for decades I guess.
