If there's no alternative transport, people will be forced to buy cars at any price, preferably with a predatory loan. I don't think making cars more expensive is going to have the effect of making everyone cyclists if there's no investment in infrastructure to enable this.

I love how the Democratic party has no responsibility for losing the election. Harris followed the same playbook as Clinton: tack to the right, wag your finger at the left and campaign in Texas.
They're still trying to chase those 'moderate' Republicans instead of turning out their base.
Melania is happy that Musk is polishing the mushroom so she doesn't have to.
Israel can fuck up every oil field in the middle east, so I guess the thinking is that it keeps everyone in the region in line?
They're fine with whatever Trump wants to do to the American people, but they'll do anything to make sure the Empire isn't endangered.
How are they baffled at Trump doing Trump stuff?
With this opposition, you might as well be a one party state like China. Even if Democrats win, Republicans still end up in a position to block whatever they don't like.
As long as Democrats keep chasing Wall Street donors instead of listening to what people want, I'm going to keep shitting on them.
It's really weird how much ticket splitting there's been in those battleground states. Harris lost them, but the state wide races generally went well for the Dems.
Who's this Trump-Gallego voter?
Yeah, of course. Whomever did that is completely fucked in the head.
Presumably a hunter or nearby property owner that assumes they're the only ones that get a say in how the forest is used.
Judging by those trends, it doesn't look likely, basically none of those lines are even starting to come down except somehow the US?
There's not going to be any need for that, Trump's AG is just going to make this go away.
