Hot, hot hot hot.

I just realized this has already been posted.

My mistake.

I was the same way. So many recommendations for Of Mice and Men and The Grapes of Wrath kept me from reading.

I'm glad I allowed myself to be influenced to read this work. So far it's a wonderful read. It's very descriptive and the analysis of the characters, I think, is good.

Wow, that is a long time! I'm hoping I get through it a bit faster. I have more I want to read. :)

I'll look into the movie too. Thanks!

This is my first book from Steinbeck and I have the opposite opinion on his writing.

I'm really enjoy it. There's just been too many events happening that haven't allowed me the peace of mind to sit and read.

It's been weeks since I began reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck and I've been seriously slacking on reading this book.

I've decided to sit down and knock out 150 pages today. Wish me luck!

It was more like I would pick up the pieces and shove them back in the sandwich as I ate it!

The first time I made it at home it felt difficult but it's really not too bad. Thank you and your welcome!

Haha I decided on more filling than bread to try and keep it a little healthier.

That sounds awesome.

I have a feeling I would do the same if I had a place so close. The closest banh mi near me is a 45 minute drive so I basically have to make it myself if I want it.

I made everything but the bread. It was delicious! I could have taken a better photo but I was hungry!

This is the recipe I used.

Just another free ebook. Check your local public domain laws to verify. Enjoy!

Well 1:54:15 but I rounded up. My feet hurt.

I used walnut for the box and handcut dovetails for the joinery. I had triangular offcuts that I glued together to make the lid.

I made this a few years ago so I can't remember if I used handtools or a table saw to dimension the wood.

The finish is pure Tung Oil.

Thanks for reading!

Just cross posting this for those who may be interested. Enjoy!

I carry a Leatherman Rebar when I know I'll need a few more tools in my pocket. It's only a few times a month but when I do it's indispensable.

The size is both small enough to fit comfortably in my pocket while be substantial enough to feel like a real tool. The tools I use the most are the pliers, Philips screw driver, and wire cutters.

This model locks the tools while they are open which I prefer but it lacks scissors, a replaceable bit driver and has, in my opinion, a light duty knife.

I don't own a stitching pony so this is how I decided to hold my work. It's not perfect as the thread sometimes get caught on the vice and it's only three inches wide but it's much faster than trying to hold the piece with my hands as I stitch it.

I've had my Orbitkey Black Edition: Canvas for over five years and it has started to fray and become weathered. I decided to give it new life and remade it using some 5 oz Veg-Tan leather. It wasn't the most difficult thing to make but I like that I didn't have to replace something simply because it's old. I'm very pleased with how it came out.
