The only reason I can think of for that rule is to prevent people from posting something that's very agreeable and then changing it to something terrible once it has thousands of upvotes, and making it look like many people support the terrible statement.

The copycat probably flew under the radar since they have so few views, but if it gets any more attention, they are seriously at risk for a lawsuit.

That's dirty. If the company is deciding that you can't stay around long enough to vest those stocks, they should pay them out. There should never be a reward for dumping people.
I have a credit card that's gotten out of control. I haven't been able to make a decent payment on it in a while, so the balance is growing faster than I'm paying it. Finally decided to just get a flat loan to pay it off completely so it doesn't milk me dry.
You could try covering it with hairspray. That's what we used to keep our charcoals from getting everywhere in art school.
