For me the Ai keeps turning itself back on.

But at the end of the day it’s up to the user to pick what they want to use

I use

https://lite.duckduckgo.com/html/

While others engines are more privacy focused this strips the AI and other unwanted stuff from Duck Duck go which were my main problems

Devolution by Max Brooks I loved his other works and I saw this one in a book store. I grabbed the audio book from Libby I’m enjoying it so far

I’ve been looking into the student discount offered by Proton. I’ve tried going through student beans and I never seen uBlock freak out as much as it has so I am not touching any of those links is there a (safe) way to get the discount and is it even still offered? Thanks for the help

Hey everyone I’m wanting to switch more to using Peertube but I’m having trouble finding a good instance.

The first one I signed up for was Spectra video but it seems to not be federated with the rest of Peertube. I’d like an instance that is so I can see more of what it has to offer any suggestions?

Hello all!

This is my first time doing anything like this so I’m sure it’s some basic technical thing I’m missing but I’m having trouble with this.

I have my server running on Linux mint and I can get that to work just fine but no matter what I do I cannot connect to the server from the Jellyfin app or swiftfin what’s the most likely cause of this and how can I fix it?

It's been a year since I joined the Fediverse (lemmy.ml)
 

A year ago today I made my Lemmy account

I now have a Mastodon, a Pixelfed, a bookwyrm, and a Peertube account. I switched off of most google services to privacy respecting ones. A week ago I bought a laptop to run Linux mint on.

And I couldn’t be happier here’s to another year of the Fediverse!
