No, they’re just like “let me check this text while I make this turn”

Idk how anyone does anything else. It’s in the corner, easy to hit…. It’s basically only a modifier key, so it will do nothing but wake the computer.

I don’t want to type a space, or accidentally close something.

Def 100 chicken sized t-rex, they’re not pack hunters, so you won’t have to deal with a big coordinated attack. Just have to fight the tiny-rex a few at a time.

Are you sure it’s not helping your ADHD? The emotional regulation improvements could very well be ADHD improvements. Have you gone through the titration process?

Ooh, seeing investment into making peripherals like this seems like a good sign for how Logitech is feeling about the VR market.

Dual income, no kids. Not living paycheck to paycheck.

But yeah, all of our friends are single and living paycheck to paycheck.

Article goes into the suspects criminal history, which does involve weapon charges… but it’s unclear what exactly happened the night of that lead to his killing.

We should keep an eye on this, and all uses of force really.

Learn to identify them and help remove them.

They’re edible and also make good fertilizer.

Started reading this book by an ADHDer YouTuber I’ve been watching, and I think it’s really good so far. Only stop reading at page 42 cuz my wife turned off the lights for bed.

Anyone else reading it?

In case it’s not clear in the image: “How to ADHD” by Jessica McCabe

I'm hoping there's something decent available for the area, I've been scouring the internet and all I'm coming up with is:

  • Sporadic data from a couple of sources on National Allergy Bureau
  • Paid API's with questionable accuracy, since they offer 'hyperlocal' information for the whole globe.
  • Daily information that is super vague

In San Antonio, through the NAB, there was a daily M-F report with detailed allergen info. I really want that for Portland.

I want to know which specific allergens are in the air to help me figure out why I've been producing copious amounts of mucous this week, and be able to plan outdoor activities / meds with ample information.

I got an email about the new TV interface for Spotify, it said it was for TVs, streamers, consoles, etc.

I open Spotify on the ATV and it’s the same shit it’s been for years.

They never implemented lyrics either.

I like it too much to move away, but this kinda pisses me off.

I struggle to click on anything that has a height of 1 line of texts. Short comments, post titles… other stuff

It’s actually pretty aggravating.

Idk what the solution is for this, but it’s a problem I virtually never had w Apollo. Is the touch target only the line of text and not inclusive of the padding around the text?

The emails look legit, came from [email protected], don't even have a link in them to reset password, just a plaintext url to access appleid settings if I need to reset password.

Dear <>,
Your Apple ID (<>) was used to sign in to iCloud via a web browser.
Date and Time: October 21, 2023, 10:30 PM PDT
If the information above looks familiar, you can ignore this message.
If you have not signed in to iCloud recently and believe someone may have accessed your account, go to Apple ID (https://appleid.apple.com) and change your password as soon as possible.
Apple Support

I have 2fa enabled, and haven't got a login request any time I've got one of these emails.

The password isn't used for anything else, and is complicated enough that I highly doubt it was bruteforced.

The only other thing of note, is that around the time I started getting these emails, my windows machine prompted me a couple of times in a couple of days to re-sign-in to the iCloud desktop app. But the signin requests have stopped on windows, and the emails have continued. Oh, and this desktop currently shows up 4 times in the appleid devices list for some reason.

Anyone have any idea whats going on?

As a last resort I may contact apple support, but 1. I've been apple support before, and 2. the couple of times I've been stumped by apple device behavior, even their highest available support specialist couldn't resolve the issue (Though, I did eventually figure it out on my own)

I rewatched an old but good video on the war on drugs. And it reminded me, that tlaw enforcement is AT BEST 1 step ahead of some criminals. But that the criminal element is always rapidly adapting, and the best thing we can do against drugs and crime is to focus on the demand side.

We legalized the drugs, but didn't do the more important half of that solution, treatment and services for the drug users.

So, why aren't we doing more? Who dropped the ball? Are we doomed to just keep throwing more law enforcement at the problem?
