Also just making their employees more productive.

There's a very good reasons why people and organisations will pay for proprietary software when there is a free alternative available. I've used FOSS word processors before, for example, and they're okay, but nothing like what Microsoft Office can do. Same with video editing.

I've got no idea what you're talking about here.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It also makes Chrome essentially worthless to anyone except Google.

My understanding is these are juvenile fish that will be caught as adults, so they will live for a while.

What's to stop them just making another browser?

This is pretty much the definition of preaching to the choir posting this here, the only thing I can think of that would be more so would be an article on the virtues of Linux.

A lot of CEOs and senior execs genuinely do work some nutty hours though.

Good luck finding people willing to deal with English majors long enough to conduct the study.

You're right, actually. How many people make a point of reading poetry? I've read a huge amount, especially when I was in school, as well as news articles, and of course an unfathomable number of comments.

Never have I decided to read poetry, not once.

They'll find a way to make two cups and a string explode, the way this is going.

Three grams of explosive on a custom board, that they can detonate at will.

Kinda terrifying actually.

Just a suggestion.

I'm trying to work out why there are posts in here about users being banned from communities, when neither the user or the community are under their control. Is this being mirrored from somewhere, or is this something that's limited to what people on their instance see?

They are also, apparently, banning users that have never been to their instance.

I can just hear the pilot giggling as this contraption made it's flight.

The explosion in the video is something to behold. I wouldn't be surprised if the ship is in two halves.

Took him long enough.
