Fuck it, if they do this I'll go stinky as a protest. I'll stink so bad that the politicians will be forced to regulate.

They are making car options a subscription.

They're making money on this too, regardless of if you subscribe.

BMW announces that heated seats will be available in their cars with a subscription model. That's to say, you buy your car "without" heated seats, and then for when you need it, you can just pay a subscription to "unlock" it for as long as you need. Once summer comes, you can stop.

Caveats:

  1. BMW saves money by streamlining their production process. By removing the option to select heated or unheated seats, they're making production easier and subsequently cheaper.
  2. They're still fucking charging you for those seats. It's not like they're going to give away heated seats for free and bank on people using that subscription to recoup the costs. You already pay the full prices for those heated seats, and then they charge you extra while trying to phrase it like you're coming out on top on this deal.

This is me. I grew up "choose between bills and food" poor, and found alternate solutions to enjoy things. Figured that once I had the disposable income I'd stop. Sure, I did pay my way for a long time too. The thing that fucked me off the most was Netflix telling me that I couldn't share my account with a student friend of mine. I'm paying to be able to watch on 4 screens simultaneously, who the fuck is Netflix to dictate where those screens are located?

I still pay for stuff, if I feel that the service, software, what have you, deserves my money. I've paid enough for Netflix through the years so anything there is just me collecting my due.

Macaroni!

I feel like this is a reference but I don’t get it. :C

ぶっ掛ける means to splash/pour a liquid onto someone or something (like a dish).

Or cummies on someone’s face. Like mine.

口寂しい means "lonely mouth", smokers often use it when they've kicked the habit.

Megasluts like me use it, too.

I don't see how it is. A kid that can't afford to buy photoshop won't buy it any more than a sketchy company would, just like how facebook much rather steal material than pay their way for it. The difference obviously being that the sketch company might very well have the capital to pay their way, they're just used to get away with it.

Capitalism is just the modern label for the same systems that made colonialism tick. The same exploitation is still going on, people are still dying for the same reasons, and the same elite is sitting on top profiting from all of it.

The whole idea of a free and competitive market where good ideas thrive and people that work hard are rewarded is a sham. It's the same BS idea the elite has always sold us.

There are no great men.

Would a sketchy company? Yup.

No. They wouldn't.

Aye, Soulframe works flawlessly via Lutris. It runs on the same engine as Warframe and performs as well really. Been playing Soulframe for months on SUSE.

Yeah. I've a friend who kept getting dismissed by the doctors when they came with worries about their heart, because they were diagnosed with generalised anxiety. Apparently if you're living with anxiety you're also immune to heart problems!

Doesn't help that someone close to them died because of late medical intervention, which only happened because the person's partner insisted that they fake a fainting episode as the medical system had repeatedly dismissed them when previously asking for help with their problem. Everything was fine and dandy until they didn't pass out, then oops, too late to treat the cancer, have a nice rest of your life.

Can't even blame individual doctors though, I think it has a lot to do with understaffing and overworking. The people who matter aren't cared for and thus can't properly care for the people they are obliged to care for. It all serves the bottom line of the elite because they can pocket more money.
