- Open Google Play Store
- Tap your profile icon and go to Manage apps & device
- Tap Manage at the top tab bar
- Scroll and find your app, tap it
- In the upper right tap the three dot menu and disable "Enable auto update"
If it's already disabled I'm not sure what to try. I used APKMirror to downgrade Discord back to a usable version, disabled Play Store updates for it, and haven't had this issue.
Looks like there's none defined on v1.0.10. I also updated to check the new app and there's none on v1.0.12.
Edit: Tapped "Add link" and a popup appeared from Android Settings with checkboxes for all 62 supported links/instances. I guess I have to opt-in. Thanks!
I had the app already open and was switching between posts when I got a notification about the update. When I clicked " Read More " on the small notification at the bottom of the screen, it opened lemmy.world in my browser instead of Boost.
