No, it's accurate. They role play being hardcore when they're at the gym. It's when they get back in their truck their fantasy self image role play turns to good ol boy when the pop country comes on. Or sometimes 90's country because, in their mind, all country after that is part of that change they hate so much.

Then when they get home, they role play being a big leader man all in charge as they boss around their little children and make them say "yes sir"

And on the odd chance they aren't a Russian propaganda machine, then at best they can't seem to distinguish their own work from Russian propaganda

Homecoming: tony stark decides to actually help clean up after himself for once instead of making the citizens of new york pay for it (many of whom are homeless after the events of "avengers"). Some union workers start to destroy small businesses and kill people because of that

This reminds me of the situation where people thought they were doing good by sending free food and clothes to underserved African populations, but it turns out it was putting their local manufacturers out of business.

Far from home: A guy kills people because his invention wasn't respected as much as he would prefer

Billionaire names the employee's invention "BARF" craps all over it, then uses it for himself

No way home: spider man destroys his whole life and sacrifices 4 people who he tried to help for the sake of all life in the multiverse

Why was the multiverse in trouble again?

Homecoming: Blue collar workers are told they're fired and replaced by billionaire Tony Stark's new government backed company, Haliburton. I mean Defence Force or something. System failed them so they said fuck it.

Far From Home: Billionaire's company steals invention of his employee and passes it off as his own. Makes more billions. Dozens of the employees quit to support employee's new plans of taking back his tech and usurping Billionaire's world dominance. System failed them so they said fuck it.

No Way Home: Literally just a movie about how Spiderman and the system failed these "villains" who really just needed support with mental health and navigating a shit system.

I picture Mr. Guillotine sneezing when his nose is stuffed to drop the blade and "clear" it.

I dunno*, if ever there were a symbol for reaction instead of proaction, it's Batman. Punch their face, toss them in an "asylum". Sometimes announce to noone in particular, "they'll get you the help you need." Like he actually believed it or is trying to convince himself, as if it wasn't the 15th time he'd bloodied this guy's face. Great detective, though.

*I've never read the comics

That's our thought. They would have to only be keeping a secret to respect her wishes, not to hide family scandal or something.

Wadsworth: Professor Plum, you were once a professor of psychiatry specializing in homicidal lunatics suffering from delusions of grandeur.

Professor Plum: Yes, but now I work for the government.

Wadsworth: So your work hasn't changed.

I had one lucid dream experience. I was like "holy shit, this is a lucid dream! I can control everything happening." And so I did. It felt so damn cool.

Then I woke up, at first impressed that I did that. Then I just couldn't help but wonder if I was just dreaming that I lucid dreamed and that the choices I made were actually just a part of the dream. Now I feel like most lucid dreamers aren't actually. Like this guy that can "control everything" and yet is somehow dreaming about Peter Griffin anyway due to made up limitations

Then I question free will or whatever and my brain hurts
