So, they're asking the Supreme Court to suspend this man's Constitutional rights and undermine the entire basis for judicial law in the US, by knowingly punishing a man who didn't commit the crime he's been accused of?
Not only did he not receive due process under the law...they know for a fact he was sent there by mistake. If they uphold this, then Constitutional law is dead. We're living in a country where justice is decided by a moron.
These people are living in a deluded fantasy world. Who's going to pay for all this automation? The same companies that are going to be losing money hand-over-fist, because no one can afford to buy their products anymore? I have no idea why they think putting the economy in a choke hold is going to stimulate this kind of investment.
And if they think robots would be cheaper than human labor at a time when people are struggling to afford basic necessities, then once again these idiots are proving that they don't understand anything about basic economics. Or life, for that matter.
I guess this means that we've reached the point where folks have become so accepting of the bullshit they're saturated in, that the idea of hearing the truth, is abhorrent to them.

I got perma banned for saying that Elon Musk should get "burned" in Canada for fraudulent sales numbers posted by Tesla in order to qualify for Federal subsidies.
They took me literally, and claimed I was promoting violence. My appeal got shut down in less than an hour. They "burned" my 8 year old account, for saying that Elon should get "burned" in Canada. The irony is real.
I work in a Canadian manufacturing company that is owned by a large American conglomerate. When Trump started all these shenanigans, there were rumors floating around that head office was going to move the shop to the US to save money.
Apparently they did a cost/benefit analysis and determined that it would cost them far more than they stood to lose, by moving the operation South, and the returns wouldn't even begin to come in for at least a decade. They decided that raising their prices to absorb the tariffs, was by far the better option. Even the projected losses were manageable compared to the cost of disrupting their supply chains.
All these tariffs are going to do, is make everything.ore expensive. Nothing else is likely to change.
I think maybe it's time for Canada to ban twitter, for national security reasons.
