418 I'm a teapot
Then, when no one was going to the breakroom (knowing the pot was empty), the pot was never filled again.
What is my purpose?
You watch the coffee pot.
Oh dregs.
Yeah, welcome to the club, pal.
Laziness is the mother of invention.
necessity is the mother, laziness is the father.
"Whoever takes the last cup brews a new pot." I think that's already mentioned in the Bible as the "golden rule".
Iirc that rule was followed here.... The cam was to let you know when the fresh pot was ready?
I thought the golden rule is "it's OK if it's in a threeway".
And "whoever pours just enough into their cup to leave 1/10th a cup in the pot to avoid making more is the office asshole, because lo, he is also the one eating other people's food"
my sibling does this to avoid having to turn off/rinse the coffee maker. they'll make just enough coffee for like one and a third of a cup, then be like "hey you can take the rest of that coffee". i look at it and it's not nearly enough for even a small cup. i just leave it there, on, lol
That's the damned truth
Forever replacing the job of the intern.
Shouldn't the intern see an empty pot and then go make more?
Seems like it would save the intern trips to check out whether it needs filled.
