Canada isn’t better than USA. The world shouldn’t be trading with them until they honour their treaties with First Nations. They break them to this day and First Nations face personal and systemic racism as a part of their daily existence.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Um, its certainly not perfect, but it's hardly a Palestine situation. Granted I'm outside looking in, and from BC to boot where the relationship is very different, but indigenous people are doing okay over this way. Again, far from perfect, but it's now occupied land, so at least it's something. Governments fuck people over of all walks of life, it's just the way it goes. It's usually not even personal, just bureaucratic, which kinda sucks.
Y'all just gave ICE a literal military budget. Canada doesn't have a full force secret police, so by default it's doing much better than USA

I get where you're coming from on the rest of it, there's still plenty of systemic racism and stuff but we are at least marginally better than the USA. Our federal government at least acknowledges their existence instead of ignoring Indigenous groups, and Trudeau's government made several steps towards correcting the harms the country committed with the residential school system, including reparations, and did several things towards overall recognition of First Nations' traditions including a federal stat holiday.
