Musk, the billionaire owner of X, formerly Twitter, and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, joined Trump onstage in Butler on Saturday to show his support for the Republican and state that he is "not just MAGA — I am Dark MAGA."

A number of people have mocked Musk's appearance at the Butler rally on Saturday on social media, as well as criticizing his public speaking efforts.

Elon is coming to California on the 10th. I have a feeling it is not going to be a warm welcome.

Dork MAGA. Price Is Right-ass motherfucker jumpin’ around like he’s gonna bid on a Broyhill bedroom set with fresh white sheets. Zooted the fuck out on ket, dancin’ around on stage like a 7-year-old with glioblastoma at his very own MAGA-Wish event.

Every once in a while, a comment like this comes along and makes me wish Lemmy had awards.

Goddamn that is the type of insult that needs to be printed and framed.

I dunno. A friend's kid has glioblastoma. It hurt a bit to see their child compared to Elon Musk.

Musk is truly the king of cringe.

Remember when he sued those advertisers for leaving Twitter after he told those advertisers to, and Im quoting here, "Go fuck yourselves"? He is basically 14.

I said out loud while watching it that he's got all the charm of an awkward 12 year old boy

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago

No wonder Trump likes him. He must think he's like Jeffrey Epstein reincarnated or something.

“Your honor these companies won’t give me money despite the fact that I want it!”

Did you ask them politely and provide a service worth advertising on?

“I told them to go fuck themselves and banned everyone that was mean to the neo-nazis.”

???

Shamelessly stolen from bidens campaign, so very original.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago

It’s not like Musk does anything new

[–] [email protected] 41 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Not even, it's a crypto shit coin. Unless the crypto scheme copied that.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 month ago

It did, according to the article linked in @[email protected]’s post.

The US government should seize all of Musk’s companies and most of his money.

Just leave him with a billion dollars

[–] [email protected] 45 points 1 month ago (7 children)

Leave him a billion pennies and he'd still be doing just fine.

I'm surprised Newsweek didn't explain why he said "Dark MAGA."

Because it was a crypto scheme.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

"X-MAGA" would have sent mixed signals

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 month ago

I assumed it was the equivalent of "dark enlightenment".

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I assumed it was a weird reference to the Phoenix Force from X-Men.

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Considering this is the man who thought that the name of the main character in Blade Runner is "Bladerunner," I doubt it.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I don’t want him associating with my favorite movie. Secondly, he probably thinks the theatrical cut is the canonical one.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Apparently he hasn't seen any cut if he thinks Deckard's name is Bladerunner. It's not like they never say his name in the movie. It's said multiple times.
