With that guys constant use of “boy” I can absolutely see him flying a confederate flag.

Anyone else notice how he looked drunk? He stumbles/loses balance a couple time reaching into his car. Why no sobriety test?

The guy was a complete asshole and the cop showed recently restraint. But I don't understand why they arrested him when the situation had ended. The citation was delivered, the guy walks into his house. The event was finished. And then the cop escalated it again. Why?

Ego I assume.

MAGA Texas resident.

Second cop must be a Reddit mod on the side. Upset that he lost an argument to the guy posting in all caps, isn't satisfied until he gets the last word in and then bans the user. Ban reason: ban evasion.

They put him in the back of the squad without searching him, brilliant work.

Man he came with “you must r*pe a lot of goddamn women cuz you don’t know what the fuck no means” WOW…

Did the cops ever answer the question of what he was being arrested for? As far as I can tell at the end of the video they just said he was being arrested for resisting arrest?

They legally don't have to. They can, and often do, but there is no requirement that they do so.

The side of the road is always the wrong place to argue your case.

Shut the fuck up and only talk to an attorney.

That depends on the jurisdiction.

I couldn’t really tell either. He was yapping about there being a warrant but I agree it sounds like they arrested him for something else. But it also seems like they would’ve done that from the jump so I’m not even sure.

Second cop says he has a warrant for his arrest when the guy starts trying to go in the house

I appreciate how he holds his documents and makes the cop read at a distance, but there’s also no need to be an asshole.

Fucking pigs just got mad he wasn't nice to them.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago (1 children)

I mean, fuck the police, but that guy is an asshole.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago (2 children)

You don't have to be nice to cops. And they can't legally arrest you just for being mean.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago

And they can't legally arrest you just for being mean.

Uhh, did you see the video? If they're not gonna face punishment for it, then they just legally arrested him just for being mean.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Sure but there is rarely a benefit to going out of your way to be an asshole.

Idk I think we should normalize being mean to cops.* Maybe if they were berated everywhere they went instead feared, fewer people would want to be cops.

* this is obviously bad advice for many people in many situations. Cops can and will ruin or end your life with little or no provocation.
